Amazing concept! I love it. I don't know about you, but I'm always down to see females work out. (I'm not creepy...), it's so empowering and makes us work even harder because we're clearly more badass.

This place is a bit hidden but check the photos to see the pic of the sign, and just look for that. It's a nice, clean and spacious studio that screams 'WORK FOR IT, GIRLS' I find this place to be super organized and not intimidating because there are no big men grunting and sweating everywhere. When I spar with the guys at my gym, they're clearly too strong and don't work at the same level as I do. At evolve, it's different because they work with you at your level so you can strive to improve, not struggle to work at a level above yours. The ladies here are tough! The female instructors are amazing and they're all so powerful - f'real, don't fight them because you will get your ass kicked. The sound of them kicking the pads is loud enough to knock me right out. All the instructors are extremely experienced and loud.. kind of like a military drill sergeant, which is crucial in a good workout.

They run through a series of drills and they don't let you chicken out and 'take a break' (your break is "torture" as they call it, or 40 situps), but at the same time they don't push you to the point where you no longer want to do it.

They also sell kickboxing merch + shirts (10% off if you check in on yelp)

Female empowerment is so important in today's society and I think this place captures it perfectly.

Enjoyed the class I took here at evolve. Came as part of a Yelp event. There was 1 main teacher and 2-3 helpers who went around the room to provide pointers.
I enjoyed the class because the teacher always came by to make sure you are challenged and doing it right. There is some conditioning drills built in which was good. Mostly partner work.
It's quite clean too so I enjoyed that. Really
Liking the all female classes as well.
There are 2 stalls for changing but only 1 washroom. Also there are no fountains around so you really need to remember to bring water.

      Good location. Will come back

Wonderful group of instructors. Super supportive. Super caring. Super accommodating. Great space. All ladies gym makes us more comfortable to let loose and be ourselves. Love that there are at least 2 or 3 classes a day during the week you can choose from to go to so we can fit it around our lifestyle and we can go to unlimited classes as well! Affordable...thats key. Been there a few months and Ive been able to tone up. I don't feel sluggish anymore. Feeling great!

I have been with Evolve since February 2016, and I have definitely been loving it.
My first class in 2016, Shirley, the owner and instructor was very welcoming. I was given a brief tour of the place, and then given a brief rundown of how the class would be like. After gauging what level I was coming in, I was set up with using the bag. Normally instructors would avoid the bag (as much as possible) as the partnered pad work definitely gives a better workout (with the additional assistance, and encouragement!)
For each class, you start off with a warm up prior to being paired up for pad work. What I do like about the classes here is that we get paired up with people whom are approximately the same level as you are, and similar height, as it makes for a better workout. Going through the sets, the instructor comes around and assists in correcting your technique while still pushing you to work out hard. The classes are great for beginners, and also those with more experience as you can definitely work out at your own pace or go all out.
On Saturdays, there is a bootcamp class that basically does HIIT workouts. It's very different from the regular kickboxing classes, and it kicks your butt in another way.

I would definitely recommend this place for those whom are new to kickboxing, as the environment is extremely friendly, and great for growth.

I love the welcoming atmosphere and tough work outs! They offer two classes six days a week to accommodate most schedules. On site are changing rooms and a clean washroom. Shirley and all of the staff are friendly, easy to approach and incredibly helpful.

This is my favourite place to be. Joined October 2015 and have been going pretty consistently ever since. Started off as a beginner and then joined the intermediate class, which led me to becoming a part time instructor. Every single aspect of this place is awesome and the girls are so supportive of each other. Shirley (owner) is so thorough and dedicated and also a really great personal friend of mine! I literally recommend this place to every girl I meet, I love it!!
