Eddie O'Briens Grille and Bar

Good bar in Canandaigua. The wings were so yummy and awesome. We got some vampire blood sauce to try. It wasn't very spicy at first but if you get a lot of it on a wing it was super spicy and too hot even for spice lovers. Recommend getting a side of it and dipping moderately. Some people in the group got the pasta fazoule soup. They were not a fan. We also got the pretzel bites. They used yeungling beer and it was so so good. The brownie skillet dessert was pretty good, not the best ice cream used. Bathroom was decently clean. Service was also good but took a while to get all the water we needed for everyone and they don't refill the glass and instead bring new glasses of water every time which made it difficult to get more water.

Service was fast and friendly on a Saturday afternoon. The Buffalo chicken sandwich was delicious. My son ordered poutine and wings and devoured them.

How disappointing that this establishment's food is sadly lacking. A Cobb salad with less than an ounce of turkey deli meat, no avocado, no cheese, no olive, and less than fresh salad.
Times are tough. smaller portions I get.
Charging $16.00 for this sub par salad is robbery. Do better!

We stopped in for a quick bite to eat! The host sat us immediately. We are pretty casual people and the environment was just what we were hoping for. Dave, our waiter was super friendly and accommodating. Last but not least the food was great! 5 stars all around!

The place was packed. I found a little table by the door, I asked the waiter, she said fine. But I never saw her again.
Another young woman was walking by and I flagged her down and asked for a menu and a drink.
It went smooth after that.
Rubí Red iced cold with its Grapefruit taste, refreshing on a warm night.
Shrimp & Avocado tacos had the right heat. Tasty.
They came with Tortilla Chips & Salsa.

Came here while on vacation, all I can say is wow.
Real steak on tacos, huge burgers, large portions we couldn't finish.
When we saw a full parking lot, it told us everything we needed to know. Once we ordered it came in no time.
Definitely will make a point to come here again, worth the travel.

Great local pub grub! We have NEVER had a bad meal here. I got the grilled chicken sandwich and didn't feel like the fries, chips, or a salad and asked for mashed spuds and they accommodated. No upcharge at all! Both delicious. My guy got a Turkey Reuben and loved every bite. The restaurant was busy for a Sat afternoon (2pm). I love seeing that because it means they are doing something right! This is a fun location for a casual meal. Not fancy by any stretch of the imagination but always good, hot and fresh food! Wait staff was pleasant and on top of their game!

Yummy food, casual vibe, friendly bartenders. Some of our favorite menu items are the burgers, spicy chili, fajitas, and the Friday fish fry. Sometimes they offer pizzas as a special, and we really like those, too. Also a good place to watch sports, as they have multiple TVs!

We really like Eddie O'Briens in Geneva, so we decided to try Canandaigua too. It has a little different feel to it, but the wait staff was attentive and the food was just as good in my opinion. We ordered the poutine for the table. It was good, the cheese is really melted so it's not exactly poutine... but it was tasty nonetheless.
I ordered wings in the honey garlic sauce and they were a good size with lots of sauce. If you don't like your wings drenched in sauce, let them know up front. I don't mind it so it was fine with me. The sauce flavor wasn't my favorite, but it wasn't bad either.

My husband's burger was good, but the patty was pretty small. That was weird since usually at the other location the burgers are a great size. We will chalk this up to a different chef this time. I should also mention if you like french fries, you need to get the fries here. They're crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The best!
Overall, the meal was nice and the service was fast and efficient. We'll be back when we're in the area.
