I had a water main leak and John showed when he said he would. Provided a quote and the guys showed up and worked until it was done. No more leaks and the fix was not a patch but a reroute and the cost was reasonable.

They do not even deserve 1 star. John is a big ole liar. First time 3 hours late second no show and still waiting reason here they did not do job right the first time. Once he got our money no more being nice. Do yourself a favor and do not use these jokers.

Do NOT use Drainworks! The owner is dishonest and untrustworthy.
Worst experience I have ever had with a plumbing service or, for that matter, any contractor or service company I have ever used during toe 30 years of owning a home.Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Howard P.San Jose, United States015Nov 5, 2018
I had an appointment at 10AM for a French Drain cleanout using a hydro jet for $300. When nobody showed up by 10:30, I called and was told they were just about to call me and the person was on his way to my house. Finally showed up at 11:30. It was NOT a Drainworks truck, but a sub-contractor. He had never done a French Drain cleanout, but thought he'd need about an hour to do it. Trouble was that he only had a half an hour available. I sent him away.
Drainworks never called to apologize. I called them the next day. They said they could do the job for $600 and never explained why they sent somebody who didn't have time to do the job or why never told me the cost was $600.
STAY AWAY from these guys.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Michaela B.Sunnyvale, United States2813Jul 9, 2018
I had called them because my landlord recommended them. John told me at 9:00 am that they would be thete between 11:00-12:00. Waited. When I called back later he said that they had been there. Did not see a truck/vehicle, did not see anyone. Nobody came to our door. 4:00 PM and still waiting.

I requested an estimate for job and got a reasonable price. When I wanted to proceed with the work, the salesman says the estimator must have been drunk for giving me such a low price and told me someone would redo the estimate. The second estimator showed up 2.5 hours late and smelled of weed. Also, they doubled the price. I will not proceed with them.

Drainworks did an excellent job at a reasonable price with a 17 yr warranty. They provided a free estimate and camera inspection to diagnose the problem. With Wolf Plumbing, they extruded a new line where the old one was. After they laid the pipe, they filled in the holes, re-poured the concrete that was dug up, and even painted the fence that was discolored in the process since I had some painted readily available. I believe my sewer problems are gone and I have a long warranty. Thank you Drainworks.

Installed a tankless water heater in my townhome. Price was reasonable and the install was quick but he didn't want to do an inspection. The inspection revealed problems. He didn't do his research on gas lines for a tankless water heater. I ended up having another plumber come in and finish the job.

I had a 2 hour window where John was supposed to show up to fix a kitchen sink drain issue. I tried calling John 3 separate times during this window with no answer and no return call. John never showed up and my issue with my drain was never resolved. I understand that certain jobs take more time than expected and thus running late is sometimes inevitable, but with that said, at the very least a simple phone call letting the customer know what is going on would have been great.

Called John of Drainworks based on a recommendation from another plumber. We set up an appointment for a Friday afternoon for him to come to our house. He provided a window of time to come out, and we waited for him to show up. Window of time passed, no call from John. We waited two more hours, nothing. Never heard from him.
Very discourteous.Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0
