Cubby's Sports Bar and Grill

The food was great. Also great service. The atmosphere was also very welcoming. It was very impressive with the amount of sports you were able to watch.

Found Cubby's as a fluke while in Brookings for work, visited on Monday for lunch and it was much busier than I expected! Sat at the bar with a very friendly bartender (didn't catch his name) and had the crab Rangoon nachos. They were amazing, I was stuffed but couldn't quit eating them and now I feel like I have a garlic cloud around me but I don't care!

Positives: outdoor seating on the rooftop, good selection of beers and it's a sports bar so lots of TVs to watch whatever you want. My kids also love the food here and that is primarily why we go.

Not so positives: food is average (it's a sports bar), orders get messed up almost every time we are here, long wait times for food.

Recently ordered the California club which featured avocado. I know it's a time of supply chain issues and inflation but seriously? One slice of avocado?

I would do 0 stars if I could based off of my last experience. My husband and I came in with our two kids tonight at 5 pm. No server came to us and the tables behind and next to us all got service. We didn't have anyone come to us so we left at 525 pm and went to George's pizza instead. Cubby's lost out on our money and I can say we won't be back for a while.

Cubby's was fantastic. Chislic was really good. We were in town with a hockey team. Plenty of room to accommodate all of us.

Good service, good attention.

The food was so delicious and I wish I lived here for the food. I was here with my family for soccer and we went to cubby's it was busy but we were seated right away! I got the wings and they were so good. There was so much meat on the wings and the celery didn't taste like soap ( most do) the rest of my family loved the food too if your ever in town go there. I would recommend it to anyone!!!

We loved Cubby's. The wing were excellent and the honeymustard sandwich was amazing! Will definitely be going back for more!

My coworker and I went here for lunch while we were in town for business. Great food, service and atmosphere. It reminded me of college all over again.
