Q:
Any gluten free options?
A:
No, sorry. We only make traditional NY dough.

Ok, I was a huge fan (5 stars in my book, of the CS PIzza that is temporarily closed til Dec. 31). This pandemic appears to have your menu so bare bones, I am disappointed. Are there no toppings we can order for the pizzas now?
A:
Yeah but for Ankar we miss the Neopolitan. That style was pretty good too. I hope you bring it back. You had success at CS Pizza too.

Great pizza but the lack of logic by the staff drives me crazy. In this new "norm" you would think answering the phones would be a top priority. I've been on hold for over 5 minutes.
A bit of customer service will go a long way especially when a new better NY style pizza place pops up in Rockville.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Jun 8, 2020Previous reviewFinally I found a place that does NY pizza just right. Unfortunately I didn't order enough because my kids ate it all up. Must go back ASAP.

The best carryout pizza in Rockville. Great for family dinner, large parties or hungry sports teams! Always cooked just right & authentic to NY style, say my NY friends. Polite, friendly web is, too! When carrying out or after long day shopping along the Pike, this is our pizza!

It was National Pizza Day and I needed a slice. If I had a choice I would have gone up to NYC and done the NY Pizza crawl, but alas... I'm here, and if you're reading this, so are you. I came here because their terrific Yelp Reviews, and let me tell you... they did not disappoint! This is the closest thing to an authentic NY pie out in the DMV.
@CSNYPizza: you made my National Pizza Day!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Yana T.Rockville, United States024Jul 2, 2021
Yummy pizza and wings. The crust is particularly delicious. They always get our order right and as long as you pick it up on time, the pizza is nice and hot.

Let me start by saying i'm an Italian-American originally from NJ, so I'm a pretty good judge of pizza and this place is the best I have had in this area.
The ingredients seem to be fresh and of good quality, and the service is always friendly. My only compliant is they are really busy on weekends and it's a long wait even when calling ahead. I wish they would open a few more locations in MCO like in Gaithersburg or Germantown.
Those reviews saying it's nothing like NY/ NJ pizza, I don't know what spots your're going to because the pizza in NY and NJ has been going down hill over the years. This pizza reminds me of the good pizza parlors back in the 70's.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Mackenzie C.Rockville, United States01211Oct 17, 2020
Totally different than Pizza CS, which I will forever miss. But it's still delicious and the owners can't be beat.

Saw all of these great reviews and my mouth watered. Figured I'd try a few things. None of the items was worth the price of admission.
Had a chicken parm sub. The bread all stuck to the silver foil and was a mushy mess. One bit and I'll be throwing it away.
Sicilian was good.
MY Style was good.
Neither of these pizzas would make it 10 days up 95. There are a few places worthy of calling themselves NY, this was a disappointment.Helpful 9Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Melissa R.Rockville, United States049Jan 12, 2018
CS New York Pizza produces an interesting regional variation on classic round New York-style pizza. The crust is well suited for delivery and take-out. Classic New York pizza has a crisp crust, a light layer of tomato sauce, and low moisture aged mozzarella cheese or fresh mozzarella cheese with possibly other cheeses and various toppings added. The dough is generally mixed on site from scratch ingredients (including high gluten flour), hand tossed, and then the pie is baked in a gas deck oven, although a few places use coal or wood-fired ovens.
Most of the sales seem to be delivery and take-out. This is good, since I've found this pizza is best when reheated at home for about 7 minutes in a 350-degree residential oven. They have improved their crust and the amount of sauce and cheese they use since they opened, so that slices now come out at home like those from a good New York-area slice joint. The sauce and cheese were always what good New York pizzerias use. The cost is on a par with current New York City prices.
This pizza also reheats exceptionally well. I have successfully reheated slices up to four days old, when they are tightly wrapped in plastic wrap and refrigerated.
The dining area resembles the front of a Papa John or Domino's franchise, with a shallow counter. I wish they would have the adequate seating of a New York area slice joint.
This review is only for the round New York style pizza. I seldom eat Sicilian pizza and have not tried any of their non-pizza offerings yet.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Ronald L.Silver Spring, United States27912616Jan 7, 2021
Waste of money. Crust isn't too bad but the toppings taste like little Cesar's lol. For the prices they are charging they should definitely up the quality of the cheese, tomato sauce and pepperoni they are using. The fries weren't too bad or overpriced so i'll give them that.
