Weird how stuff happens!

Our last day in BC and I have the best soya latte ever.

Small place in Maple Ridge. VERY CLEAN AND well run establishment. My hubby had the Ataulfo mango gelato and it had a real taste and fragrance of Ataulfo mangoes.

Very classy Italian neighborhood cafe in town.

Lovely service. Welcoming vibe. Comfortable and relaxing place. Quiet with no blaring crappy music.

Stopped by this gelato and coffee joint in Maple Ridge today. They are known for their gelato being super authentic and delicious! In the summer they have 30+ gelato flavours but the rest of the year there's only a handful. I usually always get pastichio but today I decided to try the Venezuelan dark chocolate. The flavour were super rich intense and had that slight bitterness. If you don't like dark chocolate, it probably isn't the flavour for you but for dark chocolate lovers like me, go get yourself some!

The interior is alright. Chill vibe. I feel like they need some new furniture as I felt super uneasy sitting in my chair!

A very friendly dessert cafe in maple ridge. I was surprised to find such a great gelato place all the way out here! And they recently won the Vancouver sundae challenge too! And just because of that we had to try the sundae that they won for! It was an avacado gelato sundae topped with pistachio pesto, aged balsamic vinegar, cranberry and pecans. A very interesting mix when you first hear it but after having taste it it was a very refreshing change for a sundae. It's a light savoury sweet dessert. Very creative! The gelato had a really nice texture that is smooth and whipped. Will definitely come here again to try some of the other gelatos and tasty creations including their panna cotta with espresso!

Fabulous gelato. The gelato here is so rich creamy and it is just loaded with flavour. No need to guess what the flavour is supposed to be unlike some gelato places. I like that they change the flavours of the gelato frequently. I had the lemon pie gelato the other day and it was delicious. Service is very friendly. The store is very clean and there is seating both inside and on the sidewalk outside. They also have muffins, lovely looking croissants and paninis. Prices are fair for the quality.

I haven't tried the gelatos, but the coffee drinks are great, good taste, selectable options, fresh beans, and just the right temperature water. Indoor does not have much AC, however, the fan is cool enough for a soothing afternoon chill. Which says a lot this summer !

Cashier went from the cash register to making my sandwich with bare hands without washing them. Not wearing a mask, handling everyone's food, despite the covid pandemic.
Ordered a panini, she forgot my side.
Just to get my panini took over 20 minutes despite nobody else there.

The gelato here is not only made onsite it is made with beautiful fresh ingredients! I have sampled the flavours created using tea from the shop next door and one made with beer from the brewery down the street. I love that they collab with their neighbours! I often work from this shop as the coffee is delish and the wifi is super reliable! They also have a lot of plugs to power up when your battery starts to die.

I know this is nitpicky but the table height is perfect for me to type without getting sore shoulders!!!
