La Crêperie du Marché offers you the added value of mixing the Breton and French and canadian cultures... an invitation to travel, to discover... thanks to the expertise of our passionate crepe makers. All savoury crepes (buckwheat served thin and crispy) and sweet crepes (all wheat served soft cooked) are prepared on site, using our traditional recipes and using only products from Quebec, those of our artisan producers (milk, flour, cheese, egg, pork, smoked salmon, etc.). The toppings are freshly prepared on site with fruit and vegetables gathered daily at the market on the day. It is also the case with our bechamel sauce, our house salted butter caramel, and our house chocolate, which are the delight of our loyal customers! Our products are, for the most part, certified organic, or they come from producers concerned about healthy a nature and a clean environment, as are we. This is why, for example, our utensils, plates and cups are 100% biodegradable and compostable.

Absolutely amazing food experience! All crepes are gluten free and they have egg free options as well. Very friendly staff and cute location. Ended up eating there two days in a row since it was the best gluten free option we found!

We ordered two crepes, one savory and one sweet, named Josselin and Guérande, respectively. I particularly liked how crispy the crepe skins were. This place serves the best crepes I've had so far. I highly recommend trying the Guérande crepe, as it has a perfect balance of sweetness without being too heavy.
Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Nov 8, 2023
Helpful 4Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Oct 7, 2023
The best crepe/galette I have ever had in Montréal! We stopped by Jean Talon market, where I am in heaven! The fresh fruits and veggies, oh my!
Stopped by this Crêperie spot and it was delicious. Ordered the egg, spinach and tomato crepe. It was a perfect breakfast! There was a huge amount of spinach and tomato folded into an envelope. Also ordered the chocolate crepe. Delicious!
This is a must stop in Jean talon.Helpful 6Thanks 1Love this 3Oh no 0 - Matt D.Alexandria, United States1499248Mar 14, 2024
MONTREAL - Whelp, now crepes are ruined for me elsewhere as that was a dang fine crepe experience. Inside Marce Jean-Talon, this place does a handful of sweet and savory crepes. The goat cheese, potato, spinach crepe was great - a nice crispness to the edges of the buckwheat crepe, fresh ingredients, quite big, all around tres bien. Wife thoroughly enjoyed her baked apple and ham and Swiss crepe with a bit if maple syrup. Terrific service - Rudy was friendly and polite and all around excellent. Well worth it.

The crepe here were the best crepe I have ever tried! The maple syrup was perfection.
All crepes are gluten-free which was is a bonus. They gave both sweet and savoury and are very inexpensive for the quality! The girls on the desk was extremely friendly. Would recommend to grab one while visiting Jean Talon farmers market!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Rufus S.New Zealand Beach, Australia8042140Aug 1, 2023
Crêperie du marché in Montreal is the best place EVER! It's super cute and has the most amazing to-go crêpes. And all their crepes are gluten free! My absolute fave is the Saumon Fume, Épinards, Chèvre Frais et Citron! The salmon is so smoky and delish, and the spinach and goat cheese are a to die for combo. It's in an indoor market so you have so many options , and the people working there are really nice and friendly. I gotta say, the people who make the crêpes are like, total pros! They're so good at it, and you can tell they love what they do. They've got a huge menu Sweet and savory it's like a dream come true for someone like me who can't have gluten. So, if you're in Montreal and you're gluten-free or not, you HAVE to check out Crêperie du marché. It's an epic food adventure you won't wanna miss! Five stars, no doubt

Wonderful spot in the Jean-Talon Market. We stopped here for a late breakfast. My wife had the Vitré crepe which was filled with Ham, Swiss cheese, baked apples and maple syrup. This was really good. More sweet than savory just for information. The apples do come cold whereas the rest of the crepe is warm.
All of the crepes are made with buckwheat four which I wasn't sure if I would like them as I have only had buckwheat pancakes in the past and they weren't great. No issue here. In fact, I enjoyed these much more than white flour crepes.
I had the Josselin which had eggs, ham, Swiss cheese, béchamel and mushrooms. This one is obviously more savory than sweet and I really enjoyed it. I know they use things from the farmers market all around them, but I was not certain the mushrooms were not canned. They tasted fine but looked canned. The béchamel was a little thicker on here. It tasted good but I expected something a little creamier.
Regardless, we finished both and thoroughly enjoyed them. The service was very nice here. They only had two choices for coffee; espresso or Americano. I am not a big fan of Americano but I wanted a bigger coffee so we went with this. It would be great if they had other options in my opinion.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Aug 19, 2022
This place has perpetually long lines, and for good reason! They have one savory vegan crepe option that is loaded with veggies-- spinach, shredded carrots, tomato, sautéed mushrooms, potatoes, and dressed lettuce, atop a thick pile of melted vegan cheddar. I'm not a huge fan of vegan cheese so it was a little too much cheese for me, but they were definitely not skimping on ingredients. The crepe was crispy on top and soft on bottom, delicious! My partner ordered a ham, cheese, and potato crepe which he said was quite heavy and a little under seasoned, but still enjoyable. A great stop after getting fresh produce at Jean Talon!
