Cowboy Chicken

Alema from the catering team at cowboy chicken off penn in OKC is the BOMB! We were honestly very needy customers, and she didn't miss a beat! We'll definitely use their catering services in the future!

Great place for lunch: quality food that's also affordable. The staff is so friendly. I've been here twice now and will be frequenting here.

Their enchiladas are okay, very saucy, and surprisingly have a kick to it.

I had their 2 piece meal today. And for $10, you get 2 dark pieces with two sides and a drink, what a deal. Their chicken is delicious, I love the crispy skin and how well-seasoned it is. The meat is so tender. For the sides, their mac and cheese is great.

Five stars for the employee Amanda who was so friendly and the woman who was working hard in the open kitchen!

We bought a family meal for lunch, and the meat eaters in the family LOVED their chicken. Our sides of mac and cheese, elóte corn, creamed spinach, beans, rolls, and fries were all good. (I thought the creamed spinach was a bit too thick but it could be due to cooling on the drive home.) The iced tea was also tasty and I added a splash of the cucumber jalapeño lemonade for a bit of a flavor kick. :)

It would be an easy dinner night to pick up a family meal from here!

The chicken was so dry I couldn't eat it. I'm bummed as I had high hopes. It was like having over priced cafeteria food. We won't order from there again.

The food is delicious, try the twice baked potatoes and Mac and cheese. Super nice employees who work really hard. And the place is super clean.

Food is good, but every time both this store and the one west of here can't get any order correct.

Always check your order! They have even acted like I was crazy, but when they check the order it's always "oh you are right, we did forget one of the meals you paid for" or "oh we did forget to include 2 family sides and bread".

Most recently we ordered a family for 6 chicken at the other location and they gave us the family for 4 chicken.

They just can't seem to get the order correct. For the record I think they have gotten 2 orders correct out of 8 or 9 orders.

If you dine in, it's a good experience. Don't do take out.

I'm back!!! Stopped for lunch today and had the Chicken Enchiladas. Oh my goodness it was so good. I also got the twiced baked potatoes and tried out the okra today. Everything was delicious!!! So happy I stopped in for lunch. I'm going to take some of my family members in the near future.

The Edmond location wasn't too busy and the cashier was very helpful with talking about all the different sides. So glad I tried the fried okra..it was everything!!!

What a great place to eat! Fire roasted Chicken, fried Okra was the best I have ever had.
One problem, the rolls came out cold, nobody wants a cold roll, everybody wants a hot roll. Fix that, and you have fixed your only problem.

Food is amazing but service at this specific location needs work. We were very rushed, didn't get a drink we paid for, and were not given the patience to look over the menu as first timers. Didn't bother asking for the drink because we didn't want to deal with her attitude anymore. Probably won't go back. Would've gotten 5 stars if the cashier wasn't so rude to us and customers after us.

Great food, great service. I called in about a situation I had going on regarding a purchase I made at the Edmond location. I was greeted by store manager April, she offered me the best support and helped gather important information to aid me in process to getting to the bottom of it. i truly appreciated how patient she was and the care she took to handle the situation. 5 Stars for April, Cowboy Chicken is lucky to have her on staff running things so well.
