World Market

World market always has the food. I am craving that I grew up with. The seasonal selection is also wonderful as well.

Had some spare time to pass, prior to me checking in for my dental appointment. So I stopped in here. And let me tell you from the moment myself and my kids walked in the door to our whole shopping experience not one store associate acknowledge just to say hello nor did anyone ask if we needed any assistance with anything or to welcome us in. Based on that alone can't say that I would visit this particular location again.
I purchased one item and my daughter purchased three small food items. The young lady at the register was probably the only acknowledgment that we received during our checkout process.
The store was clean and organized. But won't be any rush to return to this location
One star for being open, one star for purchasing something, and one star for the Associate during our process of purchasing our items

I've had to return an item today. The manager Scott was outstanding. The level of customer service was spot on. This is one of my favorite places to shop and I love shopping at this particular store because all of the employees are so helpful and willing to go the extra mile. In an age where Service is a dying breed the store really went out of their way to accommodate me and my family today. We are happy customers and we will be returning. Thank you so much.

AMAZING customer service! Honestly I've shopped here for a long time but had to share because Ive never experienced this great of service going to that store! A huge thank you to Scott the assistant manager for being so helpful, going OUT of his way to help me with some items and holding onto his word of calling me to let me know about the items I requested. You seriously don't get that kind of service at these retail stores anymore so I wanted to make sure this store is aware of the EXTRA EFFORT and great service he is doing! Thanks again Scott!!

I understand kicking out people for not wearing a mask because they don't want to wear it (that's rude), but when it's a actual medical reason, that's a line crossed. Thats discrimination of a disability and no we can't always stay home like the argumentative employee said.

Can a store deny service to a person with a disability because his or her disability or behavior resulting from the disability may be disturbing to other customers? No. The ADA specifically prohibits this type of discrimination against people with disabilities.

Point? You can kick out mask less people is they just don't wanna, but when it's medical related you legally cannot.

Wow I must say WorldMarket Modesto CA ROCKS!!!!! Jessica truly made my day....much thanks from Portland Oregon! My brand new Adirondack Chair cushion got damage and none of the stores here in Portland had any.... in fact WorldMarket Customer Care was absolutely no help...1 star for them...however Ariel here from the Tigard Store found one Adirondack Chair in stock at the Modesto Ca store...I called spoke with Jessica and asked if I could buy the cushion....she said the 1 chair left is damaged and I just threw it out....! She was able to retrieve the cushion and sent it to me free....wow I must say THAT IS TRUE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!

MANAGERS !!! You have one awesome employee who went above and beyond you ROCK Jessica! She should be promoted!!!

This place is nice to pick unique items. I spent over $2500 in furniture. They signed me up with rewards program. I got $120 back in rewards. Once you buy any item with reward money pretty much you cant return it. So be careful what you buy with rewards. Seems like their employees are not comfortable returning items. We are doing whole house remodel. Once we changed floor their were few items i had to return but for $120 i spent they were giving me only $20 back because i used my rewards. It just makes no sense to me. There has to be a system where you dont feel stuck with items you buy with your reward money.

Hands down one of my favorite stores and they know they have a hold on me because I keep earning those $10 certificates through their Explorers program.

The clerks there are always so friendly and the store itself is always well-stocked. I almost always make a beeline to their food section because I never know what I am going to find that I can't find elsewhere!

Now to work on not coming as often...that's the greatest joke I've ever told myself!

Brenda was awesome! We came through today and purchased a rug, chair & of course some of the unique food items you can find here. Brenda bent over backwards to help us & answer questions - above and beyond what you would find elsewhere. The large items were in stock and we ended up dealing with a few others at this location - everyone was super nice, helpful, and genuine.
