      First to Review

I had a pretty significant ski accident in January 2011. A co-worker had recommended I go to a physio place in town, and I did. However, after a couple visits, I was told I was good to go. Clearly I wasn't, because my knee was nowhere near stable, and I was not really getting better.

By the way, this review is absolutely about my experience, and NOT because I know Mel, who runs Collegiate. I am a self-labeled consumer advocate who just wants to help people make the right choices.

Anyway, I went there in the early summer of 2011, clearly frustrated about the knee. The tests that were performed were over and above what was done at the previous physio place. And the prescribed exercises helped a lot, when combined with urban hikes (ask me what an urban hike is, if you're curious) and regular hiking.

I re-injured it again this year, and again, after a few months of it not really getting better fast enough, I returned to see what the problem was this time. It wasn't exactly the same injury this time. And sure enough, the stretches prescribed have made a difference right away, provided I keep them up in the prescribed intervals.

They have moved to a new location which I think will be HUGE for them, and for accessibility to all.
