We had the pleasure of stopping by Moncton during our trip through NS and NB, and we stayed in this fantastic place! Exceptionally clean, an amazing attention to every detail, spacious, very well located. We had a wonderful rest and time. In the morning, we enjoyed breakfast (included) on the bank of the river. Every room has a name and the shower gives a great massage.

Pro - nice clean hotel in a good location. On boardwalk where you can watch the tidal bore. Good service. Breakfast included was good. Across the road from Loblaws. Room are large and modern. We were on the street side and it was noisy at night. Beds were super comfortable.

Con - no restaurant in hotel. Food nearby however.

      We enjoyed our stay

The Château is very nice and if you stay on the water side you have great views and it's quiet if you stay on the street side it's like sleeping on the freeway. Overall staff is quite accommodating. Morning breakfast is a nice touch

What a lovely hotel. Hospitality is their philosophy and is evident in their actions. We had a canal view room which was larger than the standard hotel room. The TV screen was extra large too - all the better to watch the Packers win! The bathroom was roomy as was the shower with fancy shower system. I don't know what it's called but shower sprays from 3 or 4 places. In the evening someone comes by your room to give you bottled water, slippers and chocolate. Breakfast was good. The hot items offered were scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, baked beans (what? They were delicious!) and there was one of those pancake warmers that I didn't check out. For fruit they offered apples, bananas, oranges and kiwis (!). There was a variety of little pastries - tried the scone and it was sweeter than expected, yummy. Enjoyed our stay very much.

This hotel is within a 7 minute walk to downtown Moncton. Make sure to ask for a canal view room. The rooms, HUGE. They are equipped with a minibar, wine opener, plenty of amenities for your stay.

The breakfast is nice enough, albeit extremely busy on the day that I went. A little re-organization of the area could eliminate the cafeteria style line with a true. If the weather is nice, enjoy the deck with the newspaper.

There is a small bar area in the evening, but not a place you want to have more than one beer - pretty boring.

      * There is a grocery store across the street.
