Best customer service. I have been a California Coast Credit Union member for many years. I have always appreciated the time and effort they give to their customers. Today I wanted to take the time to leave a 10/10 review for their outstanding care and service. Shout out to Diego, financial representative who went above and beyond helping me today. I highly recommended this bank.

Rude and nasty manager. I walked into try to get service was not greeted, I sat in the bank for about 10 minutes with no help, when I finally asked about opening a new checking account I was met with rudeness.

We're not members of CCCU but use both their walk-up and drive-thru ATM machines which they have one of each. We like the ease and accessibility as they're right in the middle of the Sweetwater strip mall which has a CVS, MOR Furniture, Pizza Hut, Carl's Jr, and Cornerstone Church. We've rarely encountered times when their ATM's have been out of service/money. If your financial institution is a participating member of the Co-Op Network (logo is a triangle with "Co-Op" visible inside), you can withdraw cash without paying any additional charges/fees! A definite plus. Their ATM's are also very well lighted, for times when you are withdrawing money in the early morning or late evening hours.
Their ATM machines are well kept, but I would still use a hand sanitizer afterwards, and even wipe it down with a baby wipe, or napkin beforehand (if you are able to).

Richard, the manager, is the man to see for anything, he always helps with any issues, needs, and getting things done faster then usual.

If you are privileged to live a life where going to the bank is your day's chore, by all means use this bank. For other folks who have to work, tend to others, or have any other obligations during business hours, Tun away. This credit union does not use email or electronic communications. They send everything via snail mail and when they request documents they do so via fax. It's 2022 and I surmise very few people have a fax machine and a landline to connect it.

The customer service is nonexistent. You can talk to a live rep but they're only able to do the same thing that the automated system can. In other words, they can check balances only.

This credit union lives in 1970. If you qualify, I suggest NFCU.

After having complications communicating via call center, I came in to get financing for my car. Marisa was very informative, and patent. She started my folder. I then was directed to call the loan officer Jenise Vasquez who was very difficult to contact. I spent many hours on the call center line being either on hold or dealing with incompetent people. The whole process took days to complete when it could have been done in hours.

The saving grace was Damaris Rodriguez who wrapped the whole process up. She said that we at California Coast are family and that if I need anything to come to see her. She gave me her card with her direct line.

Damaris brought my 1-star review up to 5-stars.

It was my first time coming into this branch and Sabrina helped me at the teller line. She was very attentive, courteous, and provided me with excellent customer service. She answered all my question and always had a smile on her face. Thank you Sabrina, for all you do. You are an asset to California Coast Credit Union.

I am really happy to have chosen California Coast Credit Union to finance a used auto loan for my family. The rates were great and lowest I could find in town. Damaris was very professional and polite. I would truly recommend this bank to my family and friends!
