Cactus Club on Beach Ave ain't just about grubbin'; it's a whole vibe, ya dig? Peep that sick view of English Bay, makin' every bite feel like a boss move. But let's keep it a hundred, the spot can get cozy AF. I was practically chillin' with the dude behind me, rubbing backs to backs, thinkin' I should buy him some dinner afterwards yo ahhahahaha!

But yo, once I got a taste of their old-fashioned, it had me feeling some type of way. That joint had me on cloud nine, straight loopy. And don't even get me started on the Rigatoni Bolognese - straight fire, fam. Each bite had me droppin' mad flavor bombs, leaving me hungry for more.

Overall, Cactus Club on Beach Ave is the real deal. With them killer views, dope vibes, and bomb-ass food, it's a must-hit spot in downtown Vancouver. Just be ready to get cozy and make sure you cop that old-fashioned - it's lit!

We came here for happy hour at around 4:00pm. We didn't make reservations so we were seated downstairs. We waited around 20 minutes before it was our turn.

Tip: If you make reservations you can sit indoors upstairs

We got the mini crispy chicken trio ($15.00), crab cake with fries ($23.00), a bellini ($8.00) and a Hey Hibiscus ($6.75).

The mini crispy chicken trio was a bit dry but I liked the fresh lettuce and tomato. The crab cake with fries was recommended by our server. She told us to order the crab cake with fries over the crab cake as it's more worth it. The crab cake with fries come with salad. The fries are crispy and so are the crab cakes. There was a bit too much flour in the crab cakes but other than that not bad. The salad was also refreshing.

The bellini was as sugary as I remember it. Great for happy hour and the Hey Hibiscus tastes exactly like a Starbucks refresher (if you are into that kind of thing).

Overall - Cactus club is great for happy hour as the atmosphere is always good and the servers are always nice. The prices are also really good and the portions are big enough to be worth it. This location in particular is also really good for the view

Food, service and ambiance were great.
We just had an unpleasant experience with the valet parking outside the restaurant: we parked and paid in a public parking close by but the valet followed us and wrote down our license plate. Why?! It was disturbing that he followed us till there.

Came here with a friend on a weekday for lunch. Reservations recommended. There is valet parking across the street $11 -$13 per day depending what time you pull up. They actually don't check if you actually go to the restaurants you say you are since there is no validation.

Came here for the view of English bay. we were seated upstairs in the dining room. There is a downstairs lounge area that is right off the beach but you don't see a lot of the view since you are tucked underneath.

Had their non-alcoholic drinks - very yummy and refreshing

Crab Cake - not bad but only one piece

Carpaccio Waygu - very good beef and good portions

Fish Tacos with Yam fries extra on the side - nice juicy fish and good portions and very light and zesty sauce. Can't just have one yam fries.

There is a 2-hour seating limit.

Reservations is a must here. Located right by English Bay beach, the view can be stunning.

There are two levels, with the lower level having two sections (indoor and outdoor with heater during the cold weather).

We managed to get a table outdoor since we didn't have a reservations. That suited us perfectly as we wanted to be by the beach for the view. The heater worked well in keeping us warm during a cool Spring afternoon.

We were here just for drinks, and they were good. We didn't try the food, but I am sure the standard will be similar to other Cactus Club locations.

Service was good too.

The ambiance and service was great. However, we went as a party of 12 and about 6 of us had a really bad stomach after dining. We wrote to the restaurant only to receive a generic response assuring us that "they only use fresh ingredients". No further action was taken. We followed up with an email to ask if any other guests were unwell but received no response. I won't be going there again.

This place has arguably the best sunset views in Vancouver. The wait time was long for the patio but we made it with less than a minute to spare before the sun went down...it was the last day on our first ever visit to Vancouver and this sunset view was what we REALLY wanted! Got our pics....JUST!
Staff are lovely, friendly and as attentive as they can be with the high volume. There is consistency with the food and cocktails across the franchises which is good. Both are yum!
Watch the outside heaters though as ours was either ON full or OFF.
Would highly recommend with the proviso that you arrive at LEAST an hour before sunset to wait for the patio if that's what you are looking for, OR book an inside window table in advance.

Excellent view excellent service food was decent happy hour specials are great teriyaki chicken was too hard lukewarm and tasted weird though parking can be a pain at this location no real area to pick up drop off people

Always wanted to come here, and finally fulfilled it ! Staff was friendly and we had such beautiful weather as well.

I was told they have an amazing cocktail selection and it did not disappoint. They had so many different and interesting drinks that it was so hard to pick, but finally I went with the Frozen Brazilian. It was delicious and perfectly blended, and it's not often I see cocktails with kiwi in them.

The crispy chicken sliders are a starter, but I had them as a main course and it was perfect. Not too heavy and not too greasy, loved the breading. Side of yam fries were very yummy as well.

Definitely a wonderful 5 star experience that surpassed our expectations, we had 18 people enjoy a wonderful set menu with Grilled Dijon Salmon, Chargrilled Steak, Truffle Parmesan Chicken and Spaghetti Portofino. ( our server Joe recommended me the Chicken and at first I thought it was going to be like everywhere else "dry". But since he recommended Chicken I gave it a shot and it was definitely amazing. Our Group tried everything on the menu and it was delicious and tasty, compliments to the chef. If you have a group event have it here, staff were great, our server was amazing, the atmosphere was memorable and overall I would come back. Thanks Donald
