Bulk Barn

This is my local bulk barn but I usually go to other locations because I find this location doesn't have all of the product to meet my needs. However I am writing this review because I have noticed lately the increase in assortment compared to the other locations. For example I used to not be able to get nutritional yeast or caocao nibs here but now they are available.

I also really like their section of zero waste products which goes well with their being your own jar initiative. I never have any issues bringing my jars here but a tip is to bring your own funnel so that you don't make a mess in the store

I can't think of giving this place and especially this location anything but 5 stars.

So for people who don't know what this store is, it's basically a place where you can find anything from a packet of equal, spices, nuts, candy, chocolates, cereal, pasta, oils, butters, seeds, different kinds of sugar,teas,cookies and biscuits, all kinds of flour, rice etc by weight.

This place can come to rescue in many situations, just today I wanted to bake a pizza and needed some oregano so I went here and bought half a teaspoon which is more than enough for literally seven cents!!

I love buying nuts here they are very fresh and reasonably priced.Also as seen in my photo I love it when they start carrying loose quality street which is basically from mid October till around Christmas I believe.I love picking my favorites and stocking them .

I try coming here at least once in two weeks and am always amazed at the stuff I keep exploring.

They discourage tasting and refrain from doing that due to hygiene reasons.

Seriously, if I were half organized, I could do a lot of shopping here. It's easy to stroll down the aisles and say "I could make that, and that, and put these together to make some of that, and voila! Vegan Potato Salad, and I'm not even vegan!"

It is a bulk store, so if you want a lot of something (or, truly, only a little), you'll be set. I mostly buy bags of gummie bears there, but only to take to work to share with my co-workers. Someday, soon, a bear will last long enough to get to work.

Came here yesterday, after eating at the Mediterranean restaurant and having my Latte at Starbucks. I usually come to bulk barn to stick up on the natural soaps, that they have in store. I personally love Bulk Barn and would often give 5 stars but this location barely had any of the good stuff in stock, but it had the best customer service ever! The lady politely asked me how I was doing and having small talk, usually Bulk Barn employees just make you pay and leave, from my personal experience.. So it would have been a 5 if they had more items in stock! The bar soaps were fresh and I will continue buying from this store, as I love the prices and items in stock.

Great service! Went in the night before my camping trip n had a list of what n how much of what to buy. A rep was walking by n i asked for directions...he did one better. Asking me what i wanted n how much he teamed up with me and helped locate, weigh n bag everything on my list! Talk about customer service! The others i met there were really nice too!
