The meat manager is the laziest manager in a meat department I have ever seen. When you go in and you want 88% ground beef he either says he doesn't have it or you have to wait 15 minutes. I asked him why he said he wants to wait until he sells out of the 85%. He also says the 85% sells better. Then why is it whenever I go in I cannot get 88%. When you ask other people upfront, they say that's all we have. They definitely do not care about Customer Service. I'm going to make a call to the corporate office to see if that makes any difference. The front and clerks would rather be on their cell phones, than helping customers.

He says when he sells out of the 85 he'll put 88 out. You should not have to ask for this when you go in it should be in the meat case. I had to return an item it took the lady in front of me 20 minutes to return an item because the girl behind the counter had to look up her receipt. When it was my turn, I had my receipt in my hand. It still took her 20 minutes to give me a return for something, I had just purchased and was given to me incorrectly on curbside pick up. Maybe if BJ's if the store cared enough the management, they would stop the people from being on their cell phones. They also might check the meat department. You can get 88% ground beef at any other BJ's any day of the week without asking to meat manager.
Sep 5, 2021Previous reviewWorst meat department ever. 90% of the time when I go they are either out of chicken breast or ground beef. I joined only to get good prices on meat. When I get when I take pictures of 3 feet spaces with nothing in them. Every time I'm there I mention to other people am I the only one who cannot find me here and they agree with me.
Aug 20, 2016Previous reviewThe customer service desk is the slowest possible. I was third in line waited 25 minutes. Last time I was here I forgot my BJ's card with a 8th in line. Waited 45 minutes. Obviously customer service is not important to them. I asked the clerk why they didn't have back up she replied only one person is trying to work at the service desk per shift. I love the store the fact you can use your credit card but if you have to go to customer service desk forget it.

Went to BJ's for a little bit of shopping today! Not too many people which was great!
The only thing I wasn't a fan of was the fresh salsa. There were containers which had already expired in November still on the shelf. That's not good. However they had plenty of other items in stock.

Excellent customer service!!! I came in to the store during the rush (2hrs before closing) and Aubrey, the tire expert/technician, went above and beyond by ensuring I ordered the right tires. He patiently walking me through the steps to order them and helping me find the correct tire sizes and type. Above all, I was impressed with how Aubrey operated during the busy rush. He worked fast while remaining calm. Also, he was respectful and made sure to meet each one of our different needs. He makes coming to the store inviting and reassures that our cars are in good hands. You have a wonderful addition to your team!

SIZE does matter, especially when your getting less and paying more.
The packaging looks the same .. but as you can see they aren't...

Prices have increased on just about everything.
The produce doesn't last long - seems to rot much faster - 2 - 3 days now.
Store was well packed,
On items they did have.
I have noticed since the pandemic- there's less of a selection on some items.
Not very busy, think I made the 15th person.

Make Believe Agreed Delivery Time. Make no assumption that the agreed to delivery time period will be honored !! Does a delivery arriving FIVE HOURS EARLY at 7:56 AM meet customer expectations ?! The agreed time was 1:00-5:00 PM.
Why does BJ's even bother sending out a delivery time confirmation communication ?! Can that delivery truck crew read and understand the daily delivery schedule. Do they give a damn ?

I came to the BJ's wholesale Club with my friend last night. We were just there to look around and ended up walking out with hundreds of dollars of groceries (isn't that how that always happens, lol)!
I appreciated how laid back everything was. It was not over crowded and there was a lot of variety. I thought it was odd, the placement of the carts though; you go into the store towards the cashiers to pick up a cart, then come back towards the entrance and round the corner to enter the shopping section.
Overall pricing, I feel like is higher that Costco, Sams or other wholesale stores. For instance Monster White by the case was like $34 but on Amazon you can grab the case of 24 for like $30 on a auto payment. However, they allow you to bring your own coupons, which we found out at the checkout counter (and Costco doesn't allow that to my knowledge).

the staf so rude and they guve out the discount if you have the coupon! but they don't give you the couple book! they said dowload the app and everything on that ! but after check they don't have the one you need! just stuck! never come back! that why costco alway busy!

Sadly, my first online order after joining BJ's was a disaster. The TV price dropped the next day by $300. It hadn't even shipped yet. I called customer support to request that they reduce the price I paid and refund the difference. Customer service informed me that the purchase would be reviewed in 7 days and i'd be notified of the decision. They said I could possibly cancel the order, wait for my refund and then reorder it at lower price or wait for decision. In either case I wouldn't see my money back for quite some time. Ultimately I am left waiting for the decision while the item ships (hopefully). I will cancel my membership and never consider BJ's as an alternative to COSTCO. BJ's sucks compared to COSTCO.

The tire services has gone from awesome to simply terrible. I need to get a tire repair done and after no answers for over an hour of calling I decided to go in person. After sitting around for 28 minutes a person magically appeared. He then told me that I needed to make an appointment for any services. And the next available time slot was 3:30pm THE NEXT BUSINESS DAY!!! I'm unsure how they justify a tire repair to be scheduled later on of the next business day, but I digress. The person (not worth putting his name here) working is very apathetic. He is so apathetic he just said "I'll get the manager up here for you" picked up the phone and mumbled some words that was inaudible, hung up the phone and said "the manager will be right up". Here I am 20minutes later writing this review and no manager or any person from BJs for that matter in sight. Been sitting in the Tire Center now for just under an hour and majority of that all by myself. Might want to do yourself a favor and stay away from BJs Tire in Fairfax until something drastically changes there.
