Tucked away in North Campus and mostly empty on a Saturday evening, Bewon is my newest go-to for Korean food in Ann Arbor. The friendly staff and comfortable atmosphere was only further enhanced with their absolutely delicious food. The kimchi was tangy without being sour, and veggie pancakes as a side-dish? Yes please!

I opted for some budae jjigae, which was flavorful without being too spicy. Accompanied with purple rice (my favorite!), it was delicious and filling, and a slice of pear was the perfect end to a fantastic meal.
