Beacon Drive In

I love this place. The burgers taste fantastic and I love being their regular! I love coming here and if I could I would regularly frequent this place for my regular meals, believe it or not!

Came by here to grab dinner with my dad & brothers. It was nice. I had a club sandwich & snagged some of my brothers fries. No table service but they'll call out when your order is ready. The patio is nice & comfy. Definitely worth visiting when you're in the area.

The ice cream is really smooth. It was quite delightful. The service is quite abrupt. The ambiance is cool from one angle but then dumpster vibe from another. The kids loved their twist ice cream and the banana ripple was good. The chocolate sundae was just basic and lacked nuts and the proper trimmings to be an actual sundae.

After the lunch I had here today, I don't know how they've managed to stay in business since 1958.

They use those awful ready made frozen burger patties that taste like dogfood. Mercifully, they were very thin. Their fries are frozen and the type that has some kind of cornstarch coating on them which I'm not a fan of.

Their ice cream looks good. I'd come back for that but not the food.

Burgers are really good. The soft serve ice cream is a must! I like the cotton candy ice cream. Service is fast and and good. Nice location and outdoor seating .

Beacon drive-in has always been my favourite... But it has become classic since we moved off the island. Now we HAVE to go every time we are in town. For the ice cream. We have yet to find an equal, and we now live in Boston MA. Also, the staff are phenomenal. Funny. Kind. Upbeat. I would stay the night if they'd let me. Thank you for giving us amazing memories.

We came here after hearing about the place having the city's best soft serve ice cream. We left extremely disappointed and frustrated with our ice cream. The soft serve looks NOTHING like the pictures, in fact it is an outright LIE. It tastes almost identical to McDonald's soft serve ice cream but 5x the cost! Are you kidding me?!

We're never coming here again.

Well. I'm being generous with my stars but this place makes me happy (especially when you get lucky and there's no line up). I only ever have ice cream cones there so can't comment on the actual food. Sad to report that prices have gone WAY . And the size of a small cone is almost microscopic compared to last time I was there. Same owners?? Crazy prices. Place was clean and the service person was a sweetheart. Give the nice ones big tips please!!

The burger was revolting. It was a grey cold tasteless puck devoid of any redeeming features. I'm unclear how anyone who would allow this product to be served to the public. Extremely disappointing for a heritage business in a great location. Would appear they are content to extract money from tourists with no thought of repeat business.

icy frozen yogurt, not sure if it's really worth the calories. I would've prefered McD...
