I am ecstatic that BBW is now in Canada! I grew up shopping at BBW in the states and later worked there in university.

My husband used to dread vacations back home to the U.S. because we would need an extra suitcase to bring home all the BBW stuff! And on more than one occasion we (because I stuffed his and my suitcases with heavy candles, shower and body products) would have to sit on the floor at the airport while trying to rearrange suitcases to meet the weight requirements without an additional fee - Yikes!

Anyhoo, today we visited the South Edmonton Common location and they are in the process of their yearly "Yellow Sale!" Stocked up on goodies at 50-75% off! And to boot... On my receipt, I received a store survey coupon for $10 off my next $30 purchase (and it never expires!). Sweet... That means I can torture my hubby and drag him there again during the sale that runs through July!

The nice thing about this location is that Future Shop is right across the street... Send your hubbies or boyfriends there and you can shop for an hour without listening to him complain that BBW is the only place you go to where you can't drink but still come out smelling like a tiki bar!

Just came from a visit at my favorite store for soap and hand sanitizers since 2012! The staff in this location is very friendly and helpful, and the variety of scents available for all tastes is overwhelming, but in a good sense! This very sweet girl- whom I didn't ask for her name unfortunately- helped me so much, with great patience and a big smile to select my favorite scents of the pocket sanitizers which sadly have become a necessity during this dreadful pandemic. I picked 6 for $10 and I couldn't be happier with the wonderful scents and the reasonable price. Keep up the great job in providing such a huge variety of products, delivered in a clean and very well-organized store, with amazing, incredibly helpful and patient staff!

If I am out in South Common, I quite like popping into B&BW. It is located at the far back of the South Common property in the same area as Caffe Sorrentio and H&M. It is a smaller location, similar in size to the Southgate location, and less than half the size of the bonkers big WEM location - Seriously, there is only so much soap one can look at and consider before spending $4 to perch in your guest bathroom!

The staff is very friendly and helpful (you always think "oh, I'll just buy one hand soap - but wait, I might actually parish on spot if I don't buy 3 marshmallow scented candles, and an enormous jar of vanilla body scrub!") thus enter multiple staff to help get you a basket for all your beloved smelly nonsense. And when you walk out to the parking lot toting 10 pounds of scented shame and utter delight, the staff always gives you a nice farewell and well done gesture.

Back in 2007 my friends and I went to Vegas and we went shopping at a B&BW store. I immediately fell in love and bought about $200 worth of lotions and bath gels, which is something I'd never done before. I wanted the stores to come to Canada. I started writing letters, even made a Facebook group.

Well I'd like to think I had a small part in B&BW coming to Canada. This was the 3rd location (I believe) in Edmonton, right in South Common. I actually prefer this one to the WEM one, which I find really crowded. I can't speak for Kingsway because I haven't been to it yet. As well I don't find the salespeople here to be too pushy.

B&BW sells bath and body products, lotions, shower gels, bubble bath, hand soaps, body mist, lip gloss, shampoos, candles, air freshners, etc. Unless you have an allergy to fragrances there's bound to be a scent you'll like. Be warned about the seasonal fragrances though as sometimes those are just out for the season and then phased out. I got addicted to the Fresh Pineapple scent that had a few years back, my favourite scene ever. But now, aside from the occasional hand soap, they haven't made any new produtcs with it. RIP Fresh Pineapple. I also love the CO Bigelow lipglosses, they're minty, tingly and now the only lip gloss I'll use.

B&BW be a little pricey, moreso than if you were to go to a drugstore and find a similar. But B&BW always seems to have these sales, or buy 4 get 1 free type of deals. That's where things get addicting. You think, "I'm just gonna buy these two things." Then you get up to the counter and the salesperson says, "if you buy one more thing you get another thing for free." Suddenly your dashing off to find two more products to buy. Whenever I come in the store, even just to look, I end up spending at least $50. Beware of the impulse items, the pocket sized lotions, and hand sanitizers. They get me every time.

I love this store. It smells so good, the sales reps are always so friendly and not over-bearing, and there's often some kind of amazing sale going on.

Today I had a much needed shopping trip, after a surprise offer from a grandma to babysit!!! So off I went to south common, and my 1st place was BBW(Bath&BodyWorks) I needed some body mist.... cause I ran out of my other one from a store similar to this one..... anyways I walked in and right away this girl with a pretty pink apron asks me if I'd like to try some lotion I said no thanks but that was nice... then 2 more steps and another nice lady with the same pink apron asked if I needed help finding anything I was like yup cherry blossom mist...oh wait I see it... they have walls of stuff BTW (by the way) and everything is clearly put out... they have a 3 for 24 sale on something I wasnt really listening... anyways I go look at the bottle and yet another lady helped me with testers and stripes so I was happy..but kind of annoyed but happy.... Id rather alot of help ten none!! So yum I tested a few but felt like I was wasting because they had sooo many scents so another girl asked if I was ok I said yup found what I wanted , shes like oh yes we have tons of scents and they all smell so good, I agreed and made my way to the back to pay.. looked at somemore sure stuff...BTW they have a sink so you can wash your hands I love that ..because I love washing my hands... no im not a germiphobe ... but I like clean hands... and over the sink it says spread love not germs ... I thought awe thats cute.. as I checked out their awesome selection of anti bacterial gels and sprays and foams!!!! they even have mini ones for on the go.. I love this place I have all good things to say!! Tons of products lots of happy staff.. oh yeah.. they cashier told me about the sale on my body mist 2 for 18 ... so I ran back and got another one...not a bad deal... if you buy one they are 12 bucks so 2 for 18 I was like YAY!!! Anyways I was happy with my trip.. and Im not telling about the rest of my trip because Ill give away my shopping secrets ;-) Happy Shopping!!

Did not offer to help. Couldn't understand further reductions. No one said hello. Making an extra trip to another store. These employees gave me a bad taste in my mouth . Would have told them off but was with my child.
