I loveeeed doctor Walden so much that I had to come back and write a review about it 3 years later. She delivered my first child and made the experience SO enjoyable and comfortable.

Dr. Walden was always so informative, she gave me more information than I even asked for. Sometimes there was a wait, but she was worth it. I imagine she was being just as attentive with other patients so it didn't bother me.

Her energy is so confident and yet gentle. I truly wish she could have delivered my second child but I had moved too far away so I ended up with a robot who would force me out after 3 minutes at each appointment.

Thank you Dr. Walden for being so amazing. You changed my life and really made a difference

I have been seeing Dr Walden since 2018, and she is absolutely a great doctor. She's very knowledgable, caring and pays great attention to whatever the concern is. She makes sure you have ample information and clarity with no worries or doubt in mind. She delivered both my kids and I wouldn't have trade her for any other doctor. Despite my pregnancy was considered high risk, her extensive years of experience truly made the process so much smoother. I also truly loved how much she was very much respected at Cedars, that spokes volume of her knowledge, credibility and character. I had to come back and write this review because she was that great, and it sadden's me that she recently moved her practice. But if you're a patient and come across Dr Ayanna walden, I highly recommend her.

Best doctor on the planet! Shes very caring, nurturing, attentive and professional. She has delivered all 3 of my children from 2011-2016 and if I have anymore she's my go to doc! She has been a true blessing to our family and she's always there when we need her. She returns all calls and will never rush you during an appt. I would highly recommend her to anyone seeking a doctor that actually cares about her patients. She nails totally it!

Horrible practice and doctor. She misdiagnosed me twice and treated me with medicines that made me worse. She's always unreachable and her staff is rude. That's probably why she's leaving CA. See another doctor.

I found myself with Dr. Walden because my Doctor retired, who I miss terribly, he has been my OB/GYN since 1997. I was recommended to Dr. Walden threw old Doctor thinking I will have the repeat care, comfort, and wisdom like I had with him, needless to say that never happened. My first visit a year ago ,I followed up with her from some issues I was having with irregular bleeding due to my birth control, and fibroids. I live in San Diego county ( Oceanside) mind you, but because all of my medical history is affiliated with Cedars, I felt more comfortable to go there for this issue. The first visits I  met with her in her extremely unorganized messy office, although I felt like we did not jive well together, it wasn't' horrible. Now fast forward to May 31st 2022, I drove almost 3 hours to get to her, which I was excited because since almost a year now, my husband and I decided we want to have a baby together, we have children but from previous marriage. I wanted to check on the fibroids, check if there size increased, and will there be issues bedsides our age to get pregnant, if those fibroids lay in a weird place. Now here is the breakdown that made me call my husband from the car, not a happy woman after that visit.
I arrived at 9:10 am for my 9:30 am appointment, I checked in and was told she was running behind, which I was cool with considering I was early, I wanted to pay my copay, her front desk told me can we do it after she was alone and super busy, okay although your literally just sitting there, Fine I said. I was called in around 9:40 am, empty my bladder, then head into the  room, and half of the things the front desk girl/ nurse? Maybe friend who knows, was not accurate for my visit ,after I explained my reason when I made the appointment. I explained to her ,that I want to check on my fibroids and speak to Doctor about me getting pregnant, and if surgery is needed to remove or leave fibroids alone, and if those fibroids will cause issues. After saying all that she still wasn't listening nor gave a damn, whatever, I wasn't there to see her, next in comes Dr. Walden, before I can get a word out she said, 'oh its been a year, have you got your MRI', huh, what MRI , I replied, then she said' you were suppose to get a MRI', I said, oh okay, so although I'm PPO I need a referral for that and some type of paperwork deeming an MRI is medically necessary, I told her I never got that. Then she glazed over that, I went on to tell her that I wanted to check on the fibroid, my husband and I want to have a baby, here is where it got fun, she went on to tell me ,I have a better chance buying a lotto ticket and winning then to have a baby at 45 years old, I looked at her and said, yes I understand that, my husband and I are realistic, we know the it may be difficult, or may not happen at all, then she interrupted me and said, 'I'm not talking about you husband , I'm talking about you', then she went on to say bouncing back after a baby in your 40's is not easy, I said i am very healthy and muscular, she said well Serena William had blood clots, whatever the Hell that means, okay , what now, then I said to her , enough with the discouraging, I am a realistic, then she said,' its science', I said,' I love science to, but my husband and our faith over throws that', I don't think she liked that comment. Next, she finally checked on my fibroids, the only good news I got was the fibroids decreased in size and will not interfere with a pregnancy or trying to get pregnant, finally, except for my age of course ! Then she went on to ask well if you guys are willing to spend the money, you can talk to me about IVF, and; then she said that's time, and call to make appointment if your serious about that', and walked out, WTH man. I shook my head, prayed, and got the hell out of there. I called my husband in the car, and he said we will find you a great OB/GYN in San Diego, be safe and make your way home. I'm not angry, but baffled how a Dr. that specializes in a very complex specialty, where caring is always at 100%, but lack it all. I assume from the reviews on her that gave her 4 stars, she pick and choose her patients who she likes and those she don't want to waste time on ,if you swallow every word she says then she'll love you, she think she knows it all. She really  need to talk to ,or get mentor ship from my old Doctor, he can teach her a thing or two. she is not a horrible person, just need to be more positive, open her ears and not spew out more negative attributes then positive ones, I respect realness, not in your face down playing., and not listening when her patient speaks. Won't be back, on a search for a new Doctor

WARNING ! Dr.Walden, the woman hater, know-it-all is now being removed from an amazing network of OBGYN's. I was sent to her as my other OBGYN is off for holiday - I arrive and she wanted me to see her in her messy, unorganized office not in a normal patient room oddly to tell me I didn't have birth control to remove! She said the wrong birth control and proceeds to waste my time as she wanted to pick up her Vagina replica so she could act like I don't know what a vagina is. Maybe she even had the wrong patient up as I have a a different birth control which is in my arm. Then as I corrected her she needed to again act like she knows it all , but the point of the matter she had no one else in her office, she wanted to refuse service , she actually can't stand being reality checked that she shouldn't mistreat woman, she should be quite and listen to the customer and provide a simple fast service. The worst experience I've ever witnessed an OBGYN especially on a holiday . I hope this woman seeks mental help and Almond network is aware that she should be removed . The dump of a office, the elevator not working, the scam parking attendant and walking up 3 flights was literally the worse experience. My allergy to birth control should never be handled this way I wouldn't trust this woman with my life ! Be aware of this woman hating, know-it-all, discriminatory , denialed Pathetic practicing scam of a OBGYN. Hostile and hateful. WATCH OUT!

I saw Dr. Walden about a year ago regarding my fibroids. Her receptionist are ghetto, young and unprofessional. I waited about 20 min before I was seen by the Doctor. She brought me into her office first to speak about why I was there. I explained to her the things I was doing to try to better my symptoms before resulting to surgery and she was very dismissive. I started acupuncture, eating certain foods that made me feel better, stopped drinking alcohol, taking Chineese herbs etc... She told me flat out , "none of that works". Then she proceeded to go over her personal experience with fibroids, she said she has tried everything and she had to have them removed on 3 occasions. Her attitude about fibroids was very disconcerting. And I get it really, because fibroids are very disruptive to one's life. However, she's a Doctor not my homegirl! I don't want to hear her vent about her bad experiences with fibroids! I needed a helpful, professional doctor!

After that mess, we went into the exam room. She did and exam and an ultrasound. She actually found a new fibroid in the cavity which I am thankful she found. She told me about her process of surgically removing the fibroids and she said she takes the uterus out and places it on top of your stomach to get the fibroids out that was a HUGE red flag for me. Removing an organ instead of going around it is dangerous! I spoke to my sister who is a doctor and she said don't let Dr. Walden touch me!

Despite me ruling her out as my surgeon, I thought maybe she's ok with being just my GYNO. The ultrasound went well, so I figured I'd give her a try. She ordered an MRI for me as well at Cedars Sinai. I figured I do it even though I wasn't going to let her do my surgery so I can show it to the other surgeons I was interviewing. She NEVER called me about my results! The MRI was completed in January of 2022 it's now October and not a peep from her office! Very bad!

About 3 weeks after my first appointment and before the MRI, I had an infection and needed to come in to see if it was yeast or bacterial. The receptionist said she didn't have any available appointments soon, but that I could come in, swab MYSELF and they would test it! that had to be the most assigning thing I've ever heard from a doctors office! Who does that? Absolutely NOT! Overall, one of the most irresponsible practices I've ever been to. I'm very disappointed because I wanted to find a woman of color to be my GYNO, unfortunately, she wasn't the one!

Dr Walden is the most amazing loving caring doctor ive had experienced. Never had a doctor like her before. She always takes care of me and looks after my needs. I wouldn't change her for the world

Love Dr Walden but the staff is rude. Apparently, they no longer accept my insurance and will not recommend another obgyn. So great, 12 years and I am left in the dust. Pretty irresponsible with my medical history.

Dr. Walden is amazing, she spends so much time with her patients to make sure they understand whats going on!
