Affordable Appliance Repair Edmonton

Avoid this company. I called Affordable Appliance Repair for an oven repair. A technician was dispatched rapidly after our call, performed a repair after ordering the part, and indicated that our oven was fully fixed. However, they did not perform proper testing, which would have found another part that also required replacing. They came back to re-diagnose the problem, tried ordering parts, but continually ordered the wrong parts, blaming Frigidaire for their troubles. Eventually they stopped responding to phone calls and texts. After three months and over 40 phone calls (I waited way too long for the company), I found another repair person who fixed the oven in less than a week. Horrible customer service, unable to fix simple problems properly, and inability to order parts properly means you should stay away from this company.

I did find out that they do sometimes farm out repairs to another company, and that my issues were due to this subcontracted company. However, its like a lottery, will you get a good repair or a substandard repair when you call, depending on who they have available? Not worth the risk, many other better companies that are reliable.
