AFC Urgent Care Lakewood

I was able to make an appointment 2 hours out and upload forms/insurance so that the check in process was very easy and fast when I was there. There was barely any wait and everyone there was extremely friendly and helpful. This is definitely my number one choice next time I need urgent care

Highly recommend this urgent care. Stopped by for a flu, strep throat, COVID test, and the experience was smooth. They had a few folks ahead of me, so made an appointment for an hour later and came back.

A few tips to ensure a smooth experience:

- Have insurance ready to go.
- Complete registration through the link they provide.
- Be patient, urgent care centers put up with a lot of craziness and are exposed to so much daily. Cut them a little slack :-)

Got my results in about 20 minutes, the NP and tech were both so pleasant. It made a difference. Thank you so much - it's not fun being sick and no one enjoys urgent care but you guys made it tolerable.

I "got in line" in advance through their website which made check in super quick and easy. I was seen immediately and the EMT and doctor who evaluated me were very kind, efficient and helpful! This is probably my third or fourth time at this urgent care clinic and every experience has been really great - super friendly staff and the care is top notch!

Terrible service. I would recommend this place to absolutely nobody. They knew with my symptoms that I would need an X-ray or an ultrasound and they knew that the person who does those was not there yet they still took my money and billed me even more. They gave me a pregnancy test and charged me for it even though I knew that was not the issue. Scammers

Gad the absolute best experience at AFC! Follow up appointment was professional, proper and caring. My issues were addressed with listening ears. Tallis, Taylor, Sage, Ariana took amazing care of all my health issues. Thank you so much!

Melanie was an amazing PA. I loved her. She helped me get better. I highly recommend her services.

I came in for a drug screening and they advised that I make an appointment as no one was there to do the screening. I made an appointment and came back the next day and they told me they told me that I had to wait 2 hours even though I had an appointment?! I was also told that I couldn't leave or else I lose my spot. I waited over an hour still no screening. Other people waited longer than me only to be turned away because there was no x-ray staff. This should have been noted when people came in. The staff seemed overwhelmed. Avoid this place if possible or schedule and appointment and call before coming in for your appointment.

Fantastic urgent care. The front office staff was very friendly and helpful. We weren't sure if we needed urgent care or the ER. I wish I had our Dr's name. She was the best during a concerning situation.

This location is the worst. The waiting room had maybe 7 people inside, there was a line out the door and we could all see and here the staff in the back laughing and chatting super loud. We waited over three hours, WITH AN APPOINTMENT! Ridiculous. Don't come here

I woke up on Saturday and was pleased to quickly see Melanie at AFC and get a prescription for my sinus infection. Also pleased they are a provider for my insurance!
