deleting' emissions controls from hundreds of semi trucks?

shame on anyone involved! do you all share in this planet and its fragile environment and do you share in the air we breathe? if yes then share in the (protection and preservation and (lessening) of environmental emissions and toxins etc!) don't freaking add to it!! who did that???? and why??? its because of folks like (you all) that our planets air quality suffers thus in the future (we) will suffer the consiquences of your actions along with all other polluters and most importantly our children who will be left with the effects of all our selfish carelessness will suffer even more so!
wow! why??? would anyone want to add harm to the environment on purpose??!!!!! really?? do things the right and legal way or don't do it at all! your choices

We took our 2012 International truck in for a coolant leak problem. Accurate quoted us and we agreed to their recommendations. $14931.75. After the repair we were told the Turbos needed to be done. Another $12000!!! So we took the truck to another international dealer who told us after a 30 minute inspection the engine was actually needing to be replaced!!!!! Accurate Truck Service has been contacted and Kevin has told me twice the owner wanted to talk to me and he would call me back after the long weekend. Now it's been nearly 2 weeks and no contact. I feel like they misdiagnosed the problem and now are trying to avoid me. These invoices will be posted on several social media channels to let everyone know this company will not guarantee or stand behind their work. Every company makes mistakes BUT it's how they are handled that makes the difference.

Took my International in for a basic oil change. Initially spoke with John when I dropped the truck off Friday night. Asked for an oil change, and for them to tighten the e-brake. When I called in the next day on Saturday (was assured it would be done before they closed that day), I spoke with Ryan. Ryan was quite rude, and told me that I was told it would be ready for Monday. I asked if the work was done, and he stated it was, but that they were going to be closing in an hour. When I arrived to pick up my truck, I noticed that they had replaced my fuel filter as well. This had been done just a month prior! I told Ryan this, and asked him why they had replaced this. I was "told" that it was part of their oil change service package. This was never explained to me at any time. Again I told Ryan that I would not be paying for something that didn't need replacing. His response was "How were we supposed to know that you had had it replaced a month ago?" If their mechanics can't tell a brand new (1 month old) fuel filter/part from one that requires replacement, they should consider another profession. I mentioned to him that a call should of been made to me for any "extra" servicing aside from the oil change. This is standard practice. He went to speak with his service manager, and informed me they would remove the cost of the fuel filter, but that I wasn't to return!!! Astounding...The service manager acknowledged that John had input the wrong pick up date, failed to explain what services they "provided" as part of their oil change package (0ther than oil, filter, and lube...basically an oil change), and that there was a communication failure on their part. No apology given...no attempt made to keep my business when I mentioned that I would take Ryan's advice and not return. Their hourly rate is one of the highest out there. DO NOT RECOMMEND. Horrible customer service from everyone there except for John who made the initial mistakes. He was actually quite professional to deal with.

Had my clutch replaced there once...everything seemed fine with the work, no issues. The problem comes when returning to get the first clutch adjustment. After adjusting the clutch they tried telling me that the clutch was so worn out, that I would have to replace it soon as it was on its last legs. This was years ago now and I am still on the same clutch...go figure. They make things up that 'sound' important but don't really have a clue what they are talking about. They cannot seem to diagnose vehicle issues to save their life. They try telling people that the washer fluid motor needs to be replaced when the reservoir is just out of fluid, that the oil needs to be changed because it was too dirty...things of this nature. I have a feeling that they don't actually hire 'real' mechanics to do the work...more like people that have worked on cars in the past but are as qualified to repair them as Mr. Lube employees. Sometimes it really leaves you speechless.

Very disappointing with this company. It all started with the engine replacement for our IH truck, our driver neglected to change oil for a year so they made the diagnostics and recommended that an engine replacement is necessary. We agreed to their findings, started having problem during the warranty period, oil leaking, the engine oil increases beyond the maximum level on the dip stick. Where is the oil coming from? they took the oil for a lab test and said it will take days to get the result??? Our truck was left there idle for days, we had to rent a truck. When they got the result, they said there is problem with the turbo, we paid big $$$ for this, after a month, our truck stop in the middle of the road and we had to bring it back again, more $$$. This was on going for next few months. In and out of the repair shop. Every time we bring it in, they will come up with some parts to replace for more $$$. Another time was they told us the brake was fixed and ready to go, we went to pick up the truck, brake cap was left outside the truck, tested the brake, fluid was still pouring out of the brake cylinder. This tells you, that there is no quality control for this company. The engine oil problem was never fix, we decided to bring it to another company and they were able to fix the problem in 2 days. Never again will I bring our truck to Accurate.
