AAA at the veranda in Concord is very convenient with lots of parking, very courteous and informative greeters. They have DMV passport pictures. Discount tickets with very small lines Harley Any wait time. I go there for all my DMV registrations and title services. The membership is affordable includes towing service and so many discounts. I recommend the AAA Membership and to visit the AAA at the veranda in Concord.

Oct 31, 2023Previous reviewWent to Concord AAA found parking right in the front and came in for a passport picture which only cost $10 everywhere else was $20 so I saved time and money. Two very important points for me. Great customer service

Needed an international driving permit and decided to go to this Veranda branch. The office was spacious with nice waiting area.
The concierge lady asked me to complete an application, took my photo and then referred me to one of the staffs at the counter to process paperwork.

if I could leave negative stars, I will leave a negative ...
I am a AAA roadside service customer, my husband was towed November 24. I have called now four times to try to get the receipt from the tow truck company that AAA uses which is Walnut Creek fleet because my husband had cash on him over $300 to pay for a tow the tow truck driver did not give him a receipt and AAA is taking forever to help me get any type of receipt proving we paid one person says yes we have, the number the case and we sent off the referral to send you the receipt. The next person says no there isn't one will have to send another referral for receipt called back again. Got disconnected called back again. He says there's no case number for the request for the receipt and that it doesn't look like we paid anything AAA is the worst. .
Also, my mother-in-law was in a car accident. Somebody hit her and rolled her car. She has AAA, and she didn't have full coverage because it's a 20-year-old vehicle and she is an elderly lady and is on a budget so this lady hits her and she rolls her car she files a claim and AAA says well we can't do anything for you? You didn't have full coverage but here's the claim number you can call for the other insurance company and you can call and figure it out helping her. I've been a AAA member for many years, and I've been coming to this branch as Bryan Woodland has been our agent for me and my family for many years. Never had an issue at this branch as the staff is or used to be very attentive.
I visited the branch with my partner as he recently acquired AAA car insurance and we went to make a payment, someone at the DMV desk helped us, my partner gave his info to make the payment but the look on her face and her whole demeanor changed once she heard my partner had an accent, I was just listening but you can tell when you are not welcomed somewhere, I intervened and proceeded to communicate with her, she asked me to repeat what I was saying, hence my English is perfect yet she seemed to have that face of not understanding what I was saying, I then automatically changed my way as I normally do when I encounter this type of people, I proceeded to explain with pears and apples and somehow she got it!
After that tedious and unnecessary explanation we were told someone else would help us, did not look at me in the eye while this was happening and still had that look on her face, didn't even thanked us, we sat there and didn't even showed us where to go or who to see. I played the game and just sat there, then she finally told me to have a sit in the lobby and someone from member services will help us, How easy would that has been should she just had said that from the begging!!!!
Anyway this whole narrative is to make this branch aware of the type of service or lack of, that's been provided to clients that don't fit the standards of appearance to this particular associate, and possibly remind her or anybody with this type of attitude that they are working for people of different races and looks, and if that's such a problem maybe they should not be working with the public, and realize we are helping to provide their paycheck or at least leave the nasty racist attitude in the break room.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Business owner information

We went there after we found out we could get international drivers licenses there. The whole experience was professionally flawless. The staff was friendly, professional and efficient. The office was not like the AAA offices of the past. This location was immaculately clean and all in a modern up to date office. I didn't realize all the services they provide.

This is my third trip here and the service is constantly bad. This place is a big time waster...the receptionist was busy with who knows what. Then I was 4th in line with only one teller/helper. After 20 min and no movement I walked out. There were 5 other employees sitting at their desks and could be helping. For a private company this office is crap...

I went there a half hour before closing to get a replacement disabled placard. I had to wait while 5 people talked about how to get into the DMV system... close to 20 minutes I watched them try to get signed in and talk about leaving work and what they were going to do. The one woman finally asked for my form and then said that the doctor filled it out wrong. The three had a slightly long tail on it but it was clearly a three for six months from now. They refused to process it and then laughed as I left the office after I told them they were incompetent. No one deserves that kind of treatment. They were more like a social club instead of an office focused on helping people.
