So bummed. I had the best pizza from the location in Costa Mesa and was excited to find out there was a location here in Corona so I ordered immediately through Door Dash and now I'm totally regretting it. The edges were so burnt, they didn't add the basil I requested, hardly put any garlic and even though they ran out of artichoke hearts (notified by Door Dash about this) they still charged me for them. If I ever decide to give them another try I'll make sure to walk in and order that way I can address any issues and not be blind sided. Total bummer. My pizza is mediocre at best.

When I am feeling particularly self indulgent, I look forward to a pizza from Z Pizza. Why there? Because they do a great rendition of cauliflower crust that I find quite satisfying.
In 2017, two years ago, I made a dramatic change in my life foodwise. I cut out sugar, grains, starches, dairy, major changes that were necessary for my health. These days, I occasionally allow myself small portions of these foods, but still try to stay clean in between.
So they offer an Arugula Salad pizza with cauliflower crust. It is enough to feed 1-2 people. This I have included on my list of cheat food. The thin, gluten free crust is primarily cauliflower, cheese, flax seed and brown rice flour. It is chewy not tender, crisp around the edges, a plus in my book. It is the perfect savory partner for the toppings- fresh mozzarella, raw arugula, avocado, sweet cherry tomatoes, a lemon vinaigrette, and a thickened balsamic drizzle. Add a bit of their fennel sausage, and the world is a brighter place for me.
This new location is located in the redeveloped downtown area of Corona, just a hop, skip and a jump from the freeway offramp. There is both indoor seating and a small sidewalk patio area that is pet friendly (complete with water bowls). Bring the dog.
This wins big points when my need for a guilty pleasure tries to weaken me. Oh snap!Helpful 12Thanks 0Love this 13Oh no 0 - Aug 10, 2019
My friend and I have been wanting to try this place since its opened. We were both stoked to find out that Z Pizza has a self pour tap room. There are some locations near me in OC that I have gone to that I really enjoyed so I was expecting the same experience.
So my first mistake was when I walked in and noticed there weren't very many people there on a Friday night. It is a small location but I was expecting it to be busy since it is fairly new.
My friend and I took a look at the menu and both got the choose 3 for 10.95. I got a slice of pepperoni pizza (displayed next to the register), beer*, and Caesar salad. Theres a catch to that. You get beer but they charge you by the ounce. So really, you still have to pay for the beer. Thats what I didn't really understand about this "special".
Miguel loaded our cards and he was very helpful and informative. He showed us how to scan, pour, how they categorized the beer and all that good stuff.
So my friend and I poured 3/4 beer into a glass and sat down and our slice of pizza and salad were waiting at the table.
My pepperoni pizza tasted okay, the bread itself tasted super weird. I can't really explain it but it almost tasted stale in a way. Or that it was sitting out for too long.
The Caesar salad was honestly super amazing and I was super hungry and enjoyed my Blood Orange beer with my salad.
Honestly, this will be the first and last time coming to this establishment.
I ended up spending $17.00 on ONE slice of stale weird tasting pizza, 3/4 pour of beer and a Caesar salad.
If I would have known that we were going to be spending that much I would have gone to Lampost Pizza and Brewery across the street.
They have amazing pizza and a good selection of beer. Now I am super bummed that I wasted 17 bucks on mediocre pizza just because I wanted to check out the tap room.
I honestly don't know why this establishment has good ratings. I guess maybe I'll never know.Helpful 6Thanks 0Love this 4Oh no 0 - Andrea M.Corona, United States221216Jul 14, 2021
What a horrible experience... we ordered through DoorDash and after ordering a custom pizza this is what we received...
What started out to be a great meal.. large custom pizza, wings and salads..we received our order, simultaneously we received a text from Zpizza (through the DoorDash portal) saying they were unable to fulfill our pizza order and they replaced it with what they recommended....A SLICE OF PIZZA!!! How the hell is this an acceptable replacement. We called the location and conveniently they were closed. So what we are led to believe is whom ever was working didn't want to actually do their job and gave us hours old slice of cheese pizza....who ever worked the shift last night (7/13) SHAM ON YOU!!!!!
We called DoorDash and they did the right thing and refunded use our money. I would not recommend Zpizza and will not be ordering from them again.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Business owner information

Andrea thank you for letting us know about your order last night. We called DoorDash once we received your message and were informed that there was a communication breakdown on their side for you order. There was never an intention to serve you a slice and not a pizza but something on DoorDashes side created the error that printed slice at the location. That said this is still a mistake that we want to make right. Our staff would never intentionally not make an order for a guest.
If you would pleases send us an email to corona.gm@zpizza.com so we can work out a way to get that American pizza to you on us. It is one of my favorites and I want to make sure you get to enjoy it.
Again our apologies and in the future so there are no issues feel free to order from zpizza.com so something like this can be avoided. We look forward to hearing from you soon! - Rene H.CA, United States035May 23, 2021
This was our first time visiting this place. To be honest, everything was just horrendous. The customer service was horrible. It took the girl at the register 10-15 mins to actually help us when we were the only one in line. on the website, it showed that they closed at 9. But we were told they closed at 8. Then later explained how they close early if business is slow. But, within the first twenty minutes of us there, 14 people had come in and left because of the early closing and bad customer experience (keep in mind this was at 720-730). The girl at the register was extremely slow, had no urgency. Someone in the back was yelling about closing early. We had ordered Buffalo fries and the chicken was still cold/frozen.
The cheese pizza had a pool of grease that was dripping off the pizza the whole experience/Vibe of this place was they didn't want anyone in there.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Business owner information

Rene thank you for letting us know about your experience. This obviously doesn't reflect the standards that we have in place and for that we apologize. We are experiencing a staffing issue and this was part of the issue on your visit. We just do not have the amount of staff to handle rushes of this magnitude. Like other restaurants we are working to correct this issue as quick as possible. We would like to invite you back so you can get the proper experience and where your expectations are met. Please send us an email at corona.gm@zpizza.com and we will take care of this for you. Again our apologies and we do appreciate your understanding on this issue.

Good place for pizza, whether you want it whole or by the slice! They offer a variety of specialty pies and some vegan options. I'm not vegan but it looked and tasted delicious! Plenty of fresh vegetables and vegan meat.
If you're feeling thirsty, there's plenty of beers on tap and it's all self serve! They have good ones too, such as Space Dust IPA, Michelob Ultra and Golden Road Mango Cart! FYI: there are chilled glasses available.
Service was slow on a slow day but they explained that they messed up and had to remake it so I guess it's all good. The TVs had sports playing so it wasn't too bad. Chill ambiance and super nice workers; would recommend checking this place out.Helpful 30Thanks 0Love this 28Oh no 0 - Vivian R.Anaheim, United States7445629Jul 29, 2020
Yesterday, I bought one create your own pizza and an 8 pieces of wings to go. They charged me total $29.25. This small pizza is almost $20. All I wanted was a basic Hawaiian pizza so I ordered it like a Hawaiian pizza with some additional toppings. They charged me 1.45 per topping! (See attached for a copy of the receipt). I didn't realize there was a Hawaiian style pizza already on their set menu that would've cost less. They didn't even tell me they had something similar like that so I ended up with this small custom pizza. The cost of this pizza seemed ridiculous for the SIZE so I've asked the manager/cashier to look over it and they made some adjustments (-.35 off the bill). What a joke! Also, come to find out they forgot my red onions on the pizza and I've asked if they can make it thin but nope it came out thick.
The best part of my experience was how rude and unprofessional the guy cashier was! I've asked for an additional ranch and he said it's .25 cent each so I didn't care for it and while leaving this establishment, the cashier yells...
"DON'T COME BACK AGAIN"
I was beyond shocked to see how they can treat customers like this, especially during this pandemic while I'm trying to support local businesses. They were so rude, weren't hospitable and trying to assist me with suggestions, and overpriced! Overall just a horrible experience when all I wanted was a simple order which they made it very difficult.
If you're looking for a delicious pizza with great customer service, this is NOT the place to go. I would not recommend this restaurant!Helpful 4Thanks 0Love this 3Oh no 0 - Chelly C.Riverside, United States25621102Feb 28, 2021
I am Black (African American) women that lives in this community. Not only can I say that I'm happy that Zpizza on Ztap is A part of our community. Great vibes so much that I eat here at least three times a week.
Yes it's been slow though during this Covid-19 pandemic. I'm happy to have been able to patronize their business. They have the best customer service in the shopping Center.
I can definitely say that Quinn and Tim are not racist or prejudice. As a matter of fact Quinn is a client that sits in my chair and allows Me a black African-American woman to style and color her hair. You think she'll spend money with a Black stylist if she were racist????? NAHlll
So I must say...not naming any names but the customer that gave them 1 Star and says that they're racist... must've had a bad day and or was very hungry and needed something to eat & a Hug!
Those are FREE OH WAIT IT'S covid19
I give a virtual hug will that do?
Sorry for the bad day!
Ps. Remember the people that work in these restaurants are following their bosses instructions.
Next time it could be you or a family member that has to make the choice of pleasing the customer or or loosing their jobs. THINK ABOUT!
I've been to several small restaurants that do not take anything over $50 Bill. Because of COVID most places aren't accepting large bills and would prefer exact change.
Debit or credit always works!
They have great specials too!Helpful 6Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Darasmy Y.Corona, United States95103Apr 16, 2021
Pizza is always good. I've done door dash. Pickups multiple times. They are accurate about wait times. I get large pepperoni and sometimes multiple smalls to appease my family. Just slightly disappointed with my last order because all 3 smalls were extra small. The smalls usually fit the box. And a few bites per slice. I don't think I'm being too picky because I've ordered plenty of smalls before.
