I don't post many reviews, but this topic warranted it.

How does one actually develop a craving for caviar?

Considering how relatively expensive it is, caviar wasn't something I was actively seeking. However my job involved international business travel, and the occasional upgrade to First Class. This is where the "problem" began! Now that Covid arrived, how do I recreate this delicious experience? Well for those living in Canada, my answer is International House of Caviar (IHOC). I finally found a reputable supplier of this prized delicacy! I'm now enjoying my 3rd indulgence of the Siberian Classic caviar.

I was lucky enough to have a tasting of several brands at IHOC. However this reasonably priced variety was my hands-down favourite. It's fresh, not fishy. Just the right amount of saltiness. Rich, full-bodied, smooth and creamy. If you like a lighter caviar, this may not be for you. However it is still very approachable. I want to enjoy TASTE, and this delivers! I also shun all the accoutrements such as onions, chopped egg, lemon. Why would you want to disguise the taste? Although I do recommend eating it enhanced with a touch of creme fraiche or sour cream. Then it's outstanding!
