Great spot for dinner on commercial drive! Fets is known for their amazing and extensive whisky selection, but the food is great too! We sat outside on their upper patio and was served by Jordan, who was excellent and attentive and gave us great suggestions.

Started off with drinks - the twisted sour was unique with the bourbon and very delicious. For food, we had the southern fried chicken (amazing, great gravy, soft mashed potatoes, well seasoned chicken and tasty veggies), the steak bites (just ok, a little too over cooked for my liking but good cumin flavor) and the Mac n cheese (my favorite - delicious blend of cheeses and piping hot). For dessert, the sticky toffee pudding was so good! Perfect way to end the meal.

Their last day is December 31, 2022 so be sure to check them out!

Met my cousin here back in September. Chose it as my husband and cousin enjoy a nice whiskey.
Service was great, friendly and professional.
We all enjoyed our meals and our drinks, including a whiskey flight. Check it out!

We literally stumbled across this place around 9:30pm on a Monday night after dinner down the street.

We had no idea it existed! My husband really loves his scotch and whiskey, so he indulged in some expensive sips of the good stuff.

We also ordered the foie gras pate with homemade pickles and marmalade and were literally blown away by the volume and quality we got. Not sure if it was because it was late on a quiet Monday night, but wow, it was generous and quite delicious. We took most of it home and had it as part of a charcuterie dinner the next night!

      Can't wait to go back!

I will start off with a positive, I did enjoy the southern chicken dinner, loved the chicken, n vegetables, the mashed potatoes were lumpy and cold. My partner in crime ordered steak frites and said it tasted off, I tried it but had to spit out as it tasted rancid. We asked to speak with a manager as this was a concerning matter. No manager on site. We left with two terrible drinks left on table! Will not be going back and will be reporting the meat was rancid.

Would not recommend this restaurant nor go back. They need a manager to keep mishaps from going bad.

Tried this place for breakfast, recommended by my brother. Coffee was decent, food was good. I had the kale eggs Benny with hollandaise on a delicious biscuit. Comes with buttery onion hash browns. My friend had friend chicken with gravy on biscuits which she enjoyed. A good experience, would return.

      Eggs Benny! Yum!

We went to this place on a Sunday evening without a reservation and they were happy to accommodate our last minute request. The service was prompt and friendly. We had our drinks and some fried cauliflower appetizer. While the service was great, the drinks and the food were nothing to write home about.

Although a whisky place, we just popped in for lunch and did not have a drink. They did have quite the impressive selection of bottles though.

There have been mixed reviews on the food but i have to say, the three of us totally enjoyed our meals. No complaints.

one had the burger which was delicious. Really nice bun. I had the avocado smash with poached egg which was also tasty. Hubby had the vegetarian hash.

Our server was very friendly and chatty.

We were all happy and would go again.

I came here with B and S. It was really S decision to come here. S said this place reminded him of a whisky bar back home in Victoria BC. This place is not cheap. I had the salmon benny which came with sliced fried potatoes. I really liked the potatoes. They were super flavorful. The salmon benny were not bad. It had a very nice whisky/smoky flavor to it.

B and S each later ordered a flight of whisky. It is $25 for a flight and you don't get to pick. It is pricey but it was a nice treat.

When we came here it wasn't very busy at all. We came on a Saturday afternoon. There are free parking in the area.

Overall it was a great place to have lunch or have some drinks with friends. Service was great. I highly recommend trying this place if you are out on Commercial Drive.

If I could give a zero, I would. I was excited to try out this place because I love whiskey. I came here with 2 of my friends on a Friday evening. Our server with green hair kept coming to our table and asking how we were doing every 15 mins. It felt like she was trying to get us to leave. We were there for about 2 hours and we ordered quite a bit...$300 later, after we paid our bill, one of our friend has to use the bathroom and the server came up to us and told us harshly that there is a waiting list for our table. So my friend and I went out to the rain to wait for our friend. We did not feel appreciated even after spending $300 plus tip which we should have kept.

So it is a hard pass for me. Too bad. There is so much potential here and it was soured by this green hair unappreciated girl.

I went there with D on Jan 4th( Saturday) for lunch. The atmosphere was nice and casual suitable for bar night and happy hour.

We ordered the following : Grilled Cheese and soup ($14) and Breakfast Jambalaya ($17) D liked his Grilled Cheese and mine was alright. Breakfast Jambalaya had a nice presentation, but portion was small. It was mainly Jambalaya with few pieces of meat and sausage ; it was kinda salty in my personal opinion. I couldn't stop drinking water after my meal.

I didn't think it was worth it. I could've had better food for the price. Service was fast just that our waitress was rushing to clear dishes. I felt we had to eat faster to leave when we didn't finish our food 100%. My experience was alright nothing too exciting.
