DANNY DANNY DANNY!! That's who all retail stores need as a Store Manager!! I spoke to him over the weekend and he was great and didn't rush through any of my lame questions. I went into the store today and set up my new phone and transition over from Sprint, who I've been with for over 20yrs. For the 1st time I experienced a cell phone switch that was NOT CONFUSING, NOT AN ISSUE, NOT A SITUATION nor did I feel cheated in any way. Danny was everything a veteran retail worker (me!) looks for in an employee: accommodating, patient, knowledgeable and caring. We are in a heat wave right now and the store hasn't had A/C in 2months....if it weren't for the 4 swamp coolers that were set up as a 'fix for now', it would've been unbearable. (and to be honest if you weren't standing directly in front of the cooler, it was unbearable). But Danny kept his cool and even drove to another location to get my new S22+ since they were sold out. So amazing!! He has the work ethic that us 'old school retail employees' wish was still around. He made everything easy and I couldn't be happier with his service. So mad props to Danny...please give him the praise he deserves and T-Mobile Corporate...please fix their A/C!!
Added note: the store was clean, organized and his employee (around 11am 6/27/22 ) was nice and helped the other customers with efficiency and a friendly smile. -
My best friend and I are born and raised Valley girls and have never heard of this place until I was at the salon on Friday (so Valley, right) and heard ladies talking about Blinkies. So we got up and were doorbusters this morning. The smell was intoxicating!! We got all our favorites...for a true taste test. Soft, fluffy, melt in your mouth tasty...and the apple fritter weighed like 2lbs but was full of apple and had the crispiest edges. Blinkies definitely holds a spot on our favorites list

I had stayed at Pinerose this past weekend (6/12/16) for an amazing wedding. When I had booked my cabin, last available 5 months ago, I was skeptical. Is it just coincidence that this one was left, or are there other 'reasons'? After looking up some reviews I was still left with uncertainty...but hey, I got my cabin and didnt need to walk more than 2min from cabin to venue.
Upon check-in (very smooth process) we drove to the cabin and was again wondering what to expect. Outside didnt look like much, could be the drought, could be # of reasons...it just looked dry, dusty, with little vegetation other than the surrounding trees.
As we walked up, there was a welcoming lizard on the porch who scurried off after checkin us out. I opened the door was was pleasantly surprised!!! Knowing this cabin was named Wild Bills, I expected some themed decor. The living room was spacious with saddle-brown leather couch, chair & ottoman with a touch of wagon-wheel/ cowboy antique flare, complete with fireplace, flatscreen tv, and a day bed dressed in denim. Kitchen was stocked with dishes, mugs & glasses, toaster, coffee machine, bachelor-sized range and full sized fridge & freezer. The bathroom was bigger than my own and the bedroom was patriotic-country kitsch, complete with covered wagon headboard! Outside was a nice deck, full sized bbq, large picnic table and a running stream with chairs under the tree. (The week prior, tv show Veep was filmed in my same cabin to mimic Camp David.) It was what I needed...a getaway that felt like we traveled further than 90min out of LA.
Pinerose makes a fabulous wedding venue....it was stunning!! I would even go back just with friends and rent the bigger Alpine Lodge, which we stayed in for 1 night. Very cool, spacious & great for a group or 4-5 couples!
If you want a mountainy cabin experience, this is the place! Nearby accommodations were less than favorable. A friend stayed around the bend and though it had a huge king bed, there wasnt any cabiny flare and was decorated more like a lackluster hotel room.
