Terrible place to shop for cars. Drive across the city, 35 mins, for my booked appointment with Rue. Walked in and everyone looked at me like I was stupid. Rue comes out and tells me he'll find a guy to be with me soon, everyone's busy right now. Why did I book an appointment then? I've now been waiting for 30 mins to talk to someone about financing a vehicle and the store closes in 12 minutes! This is absolutely ridiculous. Would never recommend or buy a vehicle from businesses that truly act as if your time is worthless.
Many other dealerships in the city. Go to the next one and don't waste your time!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Lisa S.SoMa, San Francisco, United States01Jul 8, 2022

Overall experience was not good solely based on the salesmen I felt with, avoid the salesmen Patrick made me uncomfortable he is rude condescending and overall just an asshole.
Positives: very nice staff after dealing with Patrick
Negatives avoid PatrickHelpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Rick M.Booth, Winnipeg, MB01Nov 18, 2019
Every time I go to this dealer, I have to go twice. Nothing is fast, nothing is ever done correctly the first time. I always have to bring the vehicle back to finish something. This time it was scratches in the body work. The dealer told me the amount of time they required the car for, and had it for twice that time frame. Then expected me to leave it sit in their lot for the weekend so they could work on it again the next week. Part of me is angry at myself, as I was warned to steer clear of this dealer after the sale. I thought they must've fixed their problems by now. Was I ever wrong. A vehicle I purchased for my wife to drive, even she won't go back to this dealer because you have to have an open schedule. Time is money for me and these people feel my money should be wasted while they take their time.......not impressed. No longer a fan.

Had the pleasure of dealing with Bill at Winnipeg Hyundai, the whole experience was easy and quick. Important to note I did not feel rushed! Bill took the time to explore the features of vehicle I test drove, and ultimately purchased. He made me feel assured that I was getting the best bang for my buck! Couldn't be happier with my new ride. He as well made sure to take in to account for social distancing during this time we live in.

The purchase of my car was OK. Service after was not. Had issue with car and took two weeks until I got a reply. Took going upper management. Then another two weeks to get an answer. Pathetic. Find a different dealer.

I checked this dealer out to look for my first car and I'm surprised by the extent of their selection for both used and brand new cars! The sales person helping me has discussed different financing options as well. Now I just need to make up my mind. Lol!

My wife and I have purchased 2 vehicles from Winnipeg Hyundai. Neither experience was pleasant.
The first time, we bought a 2011 Santa Fe Limited, loaded with accessories. Without even mentioning it to us, they sold us the floor model. When we came to pick up the vehicle, I realized they had given us the floor model, and brought it up. They acted like they were doing us a favour. I pointed out some marks in the paint, a small hole in one of the leather seats, and some other minor cosmetic damage. Their idea of "making things right" was to throw in the first oil change.
After the first experience, we had no intention of ever going back. Unfortunately, they lured us back in with a trade-in deal on our 2011 Santa Fe, just as our warranty was running out. Since we had just had a bit of a repair scare, we decided to trade-in so that we could continue to have a warrantied vehicle.
This time, we traded up to a 2016 Santa Fe XL Luxury addition, again loaded with accessories, plus an extended warranty. Between signing the deal and picking up the vehicle, I had some questions about the warranty. I both called and emailed Michelle in finance, but she was very bad at returning messages (I ended up having to follow up on my own messages). Eventually, I got my answers, but not without a lot of hassle.
While picking up the vehicle, I noticed they had not installed one of our accessories (a hood protector). I mentioned it to Michelle, and she told me it was back ordered. Fast forward 2 months and I still have not heard from the dealership regarding the hood protector, so I called their parts department. Lo and behold, they had one in stock. I tried contacting Michelle to see about getting it installed. That was on April 18th.
It is now May 6th, nearly 3 months from the date of purchase. I have had no response from the dealership to my concerns. They have not even had the courtesy to reply to my email.
They would have to offer me a free vehicle to get my business a third time (and even then, I would think twice).Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Lyn E.Leila - McPhillips Triangle, Winnipeg, MB013Oct 22, 2017
horrible experience..just went to this dealership today & had a quote for the 2017 tucson AWD base model & was given $189/bw all in including taxes for 84mos @ 0%...i showed them the flyer regarding the promo that they have for the day which was $25,885 or $72/wk plus taxes...they got surprised..1st i was told it was only for the specific unit indicated on the flyer, which was stock#27658T so they would need to check if it's still available..the unit was still in the lot..when we told them that we're interested with the sale price, the managers just said (without any credit check yet) that we can only avail of the $72/wk plus taxes or $162.72bw taxes included if we do it for 96mos at 3.17% with their SMART program..nowhere on the flyer mentioned any of these 96mos, 3.17% or SMART program, not even on the fine print..it only showed 0% up to 84mos..what they were offering was going to cost me more money instead of saving..what's ridiculous is the regular price of this unit with the same exact stock# (or any tucson of the same trim) on their website is $28904 or $158.81 plus taxes or $179.45/bw taxes included, for 84mos @ 0%..the managers still pushed it @ $189/bw if we wanted it at 0% for 84mos despite these explanations..ithe regular price (based on their website) was at $179.45/bw & the sale price should have been at $162.72bw taxes included for 84mos @ 0% based on the ad..it was supposed to be a 2-day SALE WHEREIN THE PRICES SHOULD BE LOWER, NOT HIGHER..i'm not sure if the sales managers in this dealership expect oblivious/ignorant customers all the time or they're not too keen on giving the SALE PRICE to someone who's BROWN..i hope they're not that racist but it kind of felt that way..
