Village Square Rexall is a moderate sized pharmacy located in whistler village. It is near the whistler grocery store. You can find any type of toiletry item that you may need and medicines. They even have an actual pharmacy where prescriptions can be called in by your doctor. I did not have any encounters with the pharmacy area, but came in here mainly for toiletry items. The items are easy to find since the labeling on the isles are descriptive. They have a limited amount of body wash selection, but a larger amount of shampoos/conditioners.
The difficult part about this small pharmacy is the space inside. There is little to no space to walk. When it came time to pay it was just a blob of people. They had one person working at the cashier and five people in line. It was really ridiculous. They finally called another cashier after about 5 minutes. They need to get people in and out fast due to the limited amount of space in the place.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Feb 18, 2015
Can't beat the location, very easy to find in Whistler Village. It's pretty small, but they do have most of the things you ever want in a drugstore (including a pharmacy). I forgot to pack my contact solution, fortunately they had it in stock - life saver! The line can get long when you check out, they aren't as good at managing their checkers as Walgreens back in the States.

Has everything you need if you forgot to pack something, or need a pick me up. I needed an anti nausea medication, and their rexall brand antinauseant worked great, just had to take it once and was good for the whole day, even when doing activities like jeep trekking or bobsledding.

Friendly and quite talkative cashier but with a bit of an interesting sense of humour. Decent sized pharmacy that have basic things. All reasonable price

I was visiting Whistler from California when my doctor requested an emergency prescription. Not only did Rexall say I needed a Canadian licensed doctor to write the prescription but once I found one they didn't even have the meds in stock, didn't know what it was, and couldn't order it. Waste of time!! I went to another local pharmacy who knew their drugs better.

Prices are competitive at this medium-small Rexall conveniently located across from the large IGA Marketplace. The parking is really convenient here and if you're driving as opposed to walking, it's easier to get to get here than Shopper's in the Village.
The only conundrum for me was that they had a lot of party things, a nice selection of cards and gift bags...and only 4 rolls of gift wrap in the whole shop! 3 rolls were wedding paper...oops...
The staff is really helpful and kind. Definitely pop in here if you need something quickly.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Kenneth N.Richmond, BC2296676910023Apr 4, 2014
Good place to get your toiletries if you're staying in the hotel accommodations in the village but it's awfully cramped, given Whister's high-priced real estate, I should be understanding.
Enough room for your kodak printing centre and a Hallmark section for cards, how anyone can find time is beyond me.
closed early, 10pm.

I was visiting from US and came down with flue. Asked the pharmacist if tamiflue was over the counter , if not what was over the counter equivalent. Got the coldest almost rude response: prescription only!!! She didn't even have a decency to recommend anything over the counter and walked a way.

The pharmacist there is the rudest person I ever met. Don't think someone like that should be in healthcare, if they don't like answer questions. She is not very helpful at all.
