Working in Montreal for a couple of weeks and it's dinnertime. I usually will head into downtown to get dinner, but I was feeling lazy this evening so I did some Yelp'ing around what was near me. I found Twister Burger which was didn't have a large amount of ratings, but they had a big menu so I chose them! Here's how it went.

Atmosphere/Appearance: Set right off a pretty wide street that doesn't seem like a main road is this gem. There's no private parking lot so you'll have to park on the street in the neighborhood, but I didn't have a hard time finding space. Once inside you're transported back to like... the 40s? 50s? Whenever the soda fountain era was with the black/white checkered walls, neon lights and the whole thing. Lol. It was cute. The restaurant is fairly small and that's okay! It makes for a more comfortable and cozy feel. I got my food to go so I didn't have to stay long.

Service: The gentlemen behind the counter was very helpful and make sure I got everything that I needed. He also helped me since most of the menus are in French.

Food: I started off with their Taco Salad, but as of now I don't see it listed on their menu anymore. Anyway, it's basically their now Southwest Salad which contains mixed greens, corn, red onion, avocado, fried tortillas and shredded cheese, served with chipotle ranch. But instead of being in a bowl, it's in a fluffy, crispy taco shell which was very flavorful and enjoyable. It worked well. The name of the place is called Twisted Burger so I had to try at least one of them. I decided on the Trio Diablo Burger which is 130g beef (1/3 lb), jalapeños, monterrey jack cheese, habanero salsa, grilled onion, chipotle mayonnaise and lettuce, and tomatoes. It kinda slid apart in transport, but I was able to put it back together at my hotel room and it was fine. Nothing super crazy or explosive to report. It was a decent burger and satisfied my cravings for sure. The beer-battered onion rings were okay too. Nothing special and I don't think I was expecting anything out of this world either. Most beer-battered onion rings taste the same, so it's good that it's a familiar flavor to recognize.

Value: My taco salad was $14.95CAD, my burger was $10.95CAD and my onion rings were $4.95CAD. This is a GREAT DEAL on the amount of food I had for sure. Looking for a cheap date, something quick, nothing fancy, I dig this place for sure.

I've always seen this on Uber eats and I've always been curious so finally I gave it a try and boy was I not disappointed.

This place is more of a restaurant rather than a fast food so every burger you order will come with fries and a drink.
We ordered the sergeant, the black widow II and the O.K corral burger.
The burgers are a good size, the fries are the and the onion rings were big and crunchy!

The black widow had pieces of bacon,Jalapeños,pineapples chunks, and cream cheese.I know cream cheese and pineapple's extremely weird but once you taste it the sweetness from the pineapple works so well with the saltiness of the cream cheese. And the smooth texture from the cream Cheese works really well with the chunks of pineapple and the crunchy slices of bacon. The sweetness from the pineapple and the cool feeling of the cream cheese actually helps tone down the spiciness from the jalapeños in an odd way all the flavours mesh really well.

If you're a lover of jalapeños than the OK corral is definitely for you I took one bite and holy cow my lips were feeling it. This burger is filled with jalapeños cheese and ranch sauce.

The sergeant is exactly as it describes it's meaty, on top of the Beef patty there is grilled sausages cheese and mushrooms Smothered and barbeque sauce.

We took fries and onion rings the fries are good And the onion rings are big and crunchy definitely better than other places I've tasted.
Overall I would give these burgers a 4.5 The .5 star that's missing is definitely only due to not having choices of condiments for the fries. For a 16.95$ trio I feel that you could take a throw in some ketchup mayonnaise etc. for the fries and if I wanted anything special like spicy mayo then it's at a cost but basic condiments could definitely be thrown in.

Visited Twisted Burger for the first time (Saturday, March 9th). Placed a take out order. My order was (CaliBurger, Cheddar Cheese, Bacon, Avocado, Onion, Lettuce, Chipotle Mayo, and Tomato). Took onion rings instead of fries. No soft drink... Total $16.68... Onion rings tasted greasy. Would not recommend the product. The lettuce was wilted in the middle of the burger. As for the rest was tasty and good... nothing to cry for... I give a 7 out of 10!

You want a place to eat good burgers? On the south shore of Montreal? Well this is the place I suggest! This is a lovely restaurant with mouth watering burgers because it is known for its burgers of course!!!! But there are also a lot of other plates that I will come back and try! The staff is very nice, the decor is nice, everything is nice!!!! The burgers are done to perfection. This place has very reasonable prices. There is nothing else to say, you have to go there to know! It's a must! I'm glad I discovered this place! 5 stars well earned!!! There's a reason why it's very well-rated you know!!!!

Amazing place! It was not so far from my job, and I've been here last month on a lunch with my colleague. First of all I loved people who were there to eat so as I loved employees. The food is sooo tasty! I was near to cry with my first Bob Marley. You definitely should try it. Atmosphere is fantastic. Owner is cutie. Everything is just perfect. Cant wait to come again.
