This place was great. The staff are friendly.
Everything we ordered was phenomenal.
The fried rice was bomb!
The calamari had great flavor and texture. Cooked to perfection.
The Bao buns were delicious. A good amount of meat and sauce.
Ceviche had a lot of flavor and paired well with the crackers.
Chocolate lava cake is good for chocolate lovers. Delicious
Drinks were on point.

I will deff be visiting this place again!

The ambiance itself is worth coming to The Lila Rose! My fiancé and I were in Stamford on a weekend trip and had happy hour reservations for Friday night. We sat at the bar and it was buy one get one free on specialty cocktails. That definitely can't be beat. We had the frank Lopez, Emilia Ribegna, Gina + Georgina, Mel Bernstein, and the Sometimes it's Fun. All of the cocktails were tasty and had nice presentation. The only thing I noticed with the Emilia Ribegna was that it seems to be in a bottle already pre-made. Perhaps they make it ahead of time because it's a popular cocktail. As a person who loves craft cocktail the art of a person making the cocktail is half the excitement:

With all of the new mandates we obviously had to eat so we went with the shrimp and grits and the seafood wontons. The shrimp and grits was a bit spicy, with a lot of sauce on the top and the shrimp on the bottom. To be honest when it first came out, I thought they forgot to put the shrimp in the dish's it was definitely an interesting way of serving shrimp and grits. For me I'd definitely skip that dish next time. The wontons were good. Being from NY we have the same rules that food must be ordered if you are drinking. However, in CT apparently you must keep foot in front of you the entire time you are having drinks. That rule was one I wish we were made aware of prior to ordering because we were just here for happy hour and were in fact heading to dinner afterwards.

Overall, If you enjoy a NYC type vibe with tasty cocktails but don't want to head to NYC then this is the place for you. I don't think I would come here for a meal though.

Good food, small portions so don't come hungry, no beer on their drink menu, but the cocktail selection is on point. We enjoyed the croquettes, salmon tartare, and calamari. We considered getting the "worlds largest truffle" for dessert but decided to go to another spot that has beer. Pleasant staff, good location, good parking. Has outdoor seating.

If I could give this Instagram Filter of a restaurant less than 1 star I would.
The place is basically a tik tok video that despite its own self indulged efforts refuses to go viral.
Probably cus the food comes out cold, and somehow under and over seasoned simultaneously.
The place is more geared toward selfies than actual service. Just reference the 40+ mirrors, you'd be better off buying bottled sangria, standing in the tchotchke isle of a home goods while blasting dance remixes to 90s pop ballads then spend your hard earned money here. Do yourself a favor and skip it

Came here for my birthday brunch and couldn't have picked a more perfect place.
We had live music, the service was amazing and the food was delicious. Whether you get their breakfast food, burger, flat bread, gnocchi or dessert - you cannot go wrong and will not be disappointed. Everything looks beautiful and is absolutely delicious. If you want to have a great time, food and drinks with your friends this is the place. Warning the music does get pretty loud but it was perfect as that was what we were looking for. Their drinks are amazing too. Highly recommend the Stamford's best if you're into coconut

It's good to have this place around in the neighborhood. The cocktail was pretty stunning! Tapas were a hit or miss. Gnocchi pesto, fried rice, and shrimp chorizo grits were pretty decent. But the Kung Pao Bao and Steak du Poivre were not good. Kung Pao Bao pancake part was like microwaved leftover and steak was bad quality. The cheesecake was also pretty good. Overall it's not bad. It's a good spot for drinks.

Cutest pink theme cafe with creative drink glasses and a really nice staff. You should go on Monday night so you can enter their Gucci bag raffle!

We had 5 different tapas- loved the shisitos and the eggplant crostini! Chocolate lava cake for dessert did not disappoint!

Great vibe- it's loud in there which we enjoyed but be warned if you're on a date, you might have to speak up!

Beautiful inside with delicious small meals. I was treated here by my bestie for my birthday and I was impressed. It is very "girlie" with whimsical views of pinks and golds that is photo perfect .
The service wasn't great, but the food and drinks made up for it . There was only one waitress working . They have dividers between booths and are following protocols at this place!
Drinks ------- pig,bird,light bulb..... those were the glasses they came in they were all delicious.
Food : Beets (2 star not super tasty)
Ube (5 star very delicious flat chunks )
Shrimp & grits (5 star mini shrimp made the meal that much better)
Wontons (4 star sooooo good )
Lobster risotto ( 4 star pretty good)
Steak bites (4 star tasty yum)
Calamari (5 star nice meal)

I've been super excited to check out the Lila Rose because it seemed to be all anybody talked about! The atmosphere is fun, the decor is super cute, and we really enjoyed watching the staff genuinely look like they love their job and were also having fun!

The angry lobster risotto, tenderloin, and tuna poke were phenomenal. I can't remember the name of the first drink I had that I didn't love but would never complain about and the waitress could tell I didn't like it and took it off our tab and recommended something else. This was super appreciated and I wish I remembered her name!

The items are a bit pricey for the teeny portions (other than the lobster risotto) which is fine but we ordered so many tapas between the two of us and weren't even full. My only real complaint is that we made a reservation and still had to wait quite a while for our table in the cold (we were asked to stand outside by the patio and that they would come out and get us) would have preferred to wait in the car and just get a call when the table was ready. Then once we finally sat down it felt like we were being rushed out so we couldn't enjoy our date night like we wanted to. Other than that, I'm excited to come back and try it again!
