Togo order: placed and order and it was done in 30 mins. I got the pink gazilla roll, jett roll, and chicken teriyaki bowl.
Both the rolls were beautifully made. The integrity on how it was made was nicely put together and they do cut the rolls in smaller pieces which I like. Most places rolls are cut in bigger pieces (still the same amount). For my Pink Gazilla roll they ran out of scallops, so I substitute for salmon inside and it tasted just as good. Jett roll was delicious! Definitely ordering that one again.
I will say the downfall of this order was the chicken teriyaki bowl. It was horrible, and I don't say that to a lot of food I order. The rice was terrible because it was cooked with too much water. It was so mushy, and on top of that it was drizzled with so much teriyaki sauce, it just added more to the mushy rice. The chicken was also terrible. It didn't taste great, just tasted like steamed chicken that lacked flavor. Teriyaki chicken bowls I've had were mostly grilled or pan fried but this tasted nothing like it. The vegetables in there wasn't great. Overall presentation of the bowl was terrible. Just looked like someone didn't care about it.
Great sushi, which I will order again but terrible chicken bowl which I will not ever order again.Helpful 5Thanks 0Love this 3Oh no 0 - Jul 18, 2022
Stopped in for lunch with my spouse after finding this place on Yelp and deciding to try it. They definitely earn their high ratings. It's a little hole in the wall and you might miss it if you're not looking for it. The dining room is small but we were there on a Tuesday, so it was nearly empty. Our service was fast and friendly and our rolls were super delicious. The prices are typical for sushi, but the rolls are really big and it only took 2 for both of us to be full. Maybe for dinner we'd put back a few more, but it was a perfect amount for lunch. It was simply enjoyable. Next time we want sushi, this is where we plan to go.

Stopped in for lunch today and was so glad we did. They're open for dine in but it is a small place so there may not be room if you have a lot of people. When you walk in the first thing you see is the sushi bar. Like I said, it's kinda small so there are only about 5 or so tables. We were greeted right away and sat where we wanted. The waitress came out and handed us some menus. Their menu is pretty simple . The have apps, udon soups, bento, rolls, beers and green tea ice cream.
We tried the stuffed mushrooms, the Godzilla roll and Victoria roll. Everything was so delicious! My favorite was actually the stuffed mushrooms. It was all served up quickly and with spicy bean sprouts that were full of flavor.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Mar 15, 2022
This is my absolute FAVORITE sushi place in Fresno. I love the intimate setting and it's always such a perfect date spot with me and my boyfriend. The portions are amazing and the sushi is such high quality. A little pricy but it's so worth.

Oka never disappoints!!!!!!! Such sweet women and the food is always amazing. To go orders typically are done within 15-20 minutes and always taste fresh.

This time we tried the calamari, Samurai roll and the Island roll. All soooo yummy. The island roll had a sweet sauce and mango and it was perfection.
Jul 22, 2021Previous reviewMy boyfriend brought me here for the first time the other day, and surprisingly I have never been a huge fan of sushi, (crazy I know.) I can eat a few bites but I start to get weird when I feel that the fish tastes TOO much like the ocean. Here was not the case! Don't get me wrong, the fish was definitely super super fresh but it didn't taste like the ocean. It was soft, buttery, and the flavor was immaculate. We were greeted quickly and the staff was so so nice. I loved seeing female sushi chefs and owners. It was also nice to see multiple customers being greeted by name and spoke to one another like family. That is a huge sign of how well a restaurant takes care of their customers and how good it is when they have regulars! We got the rainbow, anita, and butterfly roll as well as the edamame. So fulfilling and you get a lot for the price you pay. Will definitely be coming here again! :)

Easily my favorite sushi in Fresno! It's a small, cozy space run by sisters. Service is super friendly and quick. I usually start off with some baked mussels and okamame (spicy edamame). Also, they serve a small complementary dish of spicy soy bean salad. I wish I could pay for extra because it's delicious. You can't go wrong with any of the rolls. Some faves are the orange blossom, Victoria, pink Godzilla and the oka roll. Everything is so fresh and tasty. I'm a loyal customer.

I am pregnant and have been craving sushi. They have a roll that is specifically for pregnant people and I'm hooked.
It's tempura shrimp and cucumber inside, baked salmon with teriyaki and spicy Mayo in the outside, all baked and toasty.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - 52188657Mar 26, 2021
I was craving sushi, wanted to try somewhere new so I went to Oka. The sushi was good but not in my top 5. I've driven past Oka for a while and I never noticed it because it's pushed back in the shopping center and the sign really doesn't catch your eye from the street. The customer service was great, the employees were super nice when I called to place my order and also when I went in to pick up my rolls.

Cute little hole in the wall. We did notice that the sushi chef was, to our surprise, a woman (not in a bad way, but there's always a man behind the counter). We later learned that this restaurant is woman-owned and has an all-woman crew. Power to the girls!
Our sushi was delightful, but the serving of ginger was tiny. We ended up having to ask for more and the sushi chef was happy to do so. The nabeyaki udon was tasty, but could use more udon. I found myself in scouring through the plentiful toppings of seafood and veggies in search of udon.
I did see that they have ramen with soft boiled egg here and will def. return to try it. I haven't found a ramen place in town that makes soft boiled eggs (they're all hard boiled).Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Ashley L.Fresno, United States563248349459Jul 10, 2020
COVID-19 phase
My mother wanted sushi and ordered a Hamachi Fever Roll and a Spicy CA Roll. The worker was very nice and recommended the Hamachi.
It is cute inside. Only takeout.
The workers were nice, welcoming and masked.
The Hamachi Roll was spicy, fresh and fantastic! It had jalapeños on it to spice it up more! Really good!
The Spicy CA Roll was fresh and delicious! Yum!
They also gave Ginger. It was really fresh and good!
My mother thought it was all tasty too!
Great service and delicious rolls! Highly recommended!Helpful 4Thanks 0Love this 5Oh no 0
