Good Place, Good People and Good Food...
Came here for brunch on Saturday afternoon and their Brunch Menu is available till 3PM which is great..
We had two servers, one was a Trainee and the other was a Trainer, they were both very sweet, kind and accommodating...
We were a group so ordered Americano Coffee which was really flavorful and rich, Sangria... which was really terrific and other drinks
For grub we ordered Avocado Toast without egg and Mozzarella cheese on top, California Benedict, Penne Pasta, Seared Tuna, and several other items...
All the items were tasty and done well. The service was top notch and they were SUPER attentive and prompt with everything...
The ambience is really nice and mellow and they allowed for a bunch of substitutions which was mighty nice..
All in all a very good experience and looking forward to going back there again...Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - 17068036105Mar 24, 2024
Not very happy about our experience Jan 9 / 24 (830 pm) at the Coquitlam location.
To make a long story short, we came for some cocktails and I was craving pasta.
It wasn't Happy Hour, but I still wanted a Frozen Peach Classic Bellini. My husband wanted a Caesar.
My drink was ok but it wasn't smooth and creamy.
Instead I found the ice to be too chunky, and it tasted like a single not a double.
My Husband opted for the Dill Pickle Caesar. He wasn't impressed either and had to use extra Worcestershire Sauce.
We had ordered the White Chocolate as a starter and this is the one thing we really enjoyed. It was delicious.
The Shrimp & Scallop Scampi Pasta came out while we were at the end of consuming our cake.
I quickly noticed how lacklustre the entire dish looked.
When I looked closer, I could tell it wasn't even barely warm...
In fact - looking closely it looked like the chicken had already had a big bite taken out of it! (See photo)
This was not freshly prepared - it looked like a dish that had been sent back - then poorly re-heated!!
I felt sick ....Unacceptable!
When we informed our server, she didn't say much. We requested to speak to the Manager...
We saw them speaking to each other in a sketchy secretive way over by the bar- it seemed that this was no secret to anyone other then us..
When he finally decided to make his way over, he wasn't overly concerned and barely even apologized!
The only thing he did was take it off the bill- he didn't offer to comp our cake or a drink or anything.
It was pathetic & quite disgusting. Do Better!
Even the previous time we had been there, the food wasn't great. I would definitely have to recommend AVOIDING this place.Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Jan 6, 2024
It's been years since I've been to milestones and been meaning to go. I decided to treat my mum to a nice dinner here as it had been forever for both of us.
I'll start with the food. My mum ordered the wagyu beef meatloaf. It looked really delicious. My mum thoroughly enjoyed it - felt like she was on cloud 9 with this dish lol. She couldn't stop raving about her dish even when we got home! Unfortunately I didn't get to try it.
I had the stuffed portobello mushroom cap which their menu said is vegan (which is great coz I can't eat anything else with dairy). Unfortunately my dish came with a lot of issues. After we ordered, our server came back a few minutes later to let me know the kitchen was out of the pilaf (which was supposed to be the base of the dish) so she asked if I wanted jasmine rice or extra veggies and I was like yes that's totally fine. Anyways my dish arrived and the person who brought my dish (not our server) let me know that the kitchen chose to leave out the basil sauce and leeks - leeks because of cross contamination with dairy and the basil sauce because it sometimes contains dairy (I found this really weird because this dish was said to be vegan on the menu and there should not be any dairy in vegan dishes - so why say it is vegan if the basil sauce 'may contain dairy'?). Our server walked by a few minutes after that and we tried to ask her for the basil sauce but she thought we were asking for the extra veggies she agreed to earlier which she brought but didn't bring the basil sauce. Either way though the dish was still delicious - I wish I could I could've tried the whole package but that's okay!
Service was wonderful overall - our server was friendly and made sure we felt welcomed.
Would I be back? Maybe - not very often but maybe one more time to give them another chance.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Mike P.New Westminster, BC79223Oct 16, 2023

O well it was fun.

Restaurant was at 15-20% capacity.
Waitress was plesant but pushy trying to sell drinks. We ordered the California salad & Flambé burger.
The California salad was over dressed! Still OK but it could've been better.
The Flambé burger was where the problems were. They meal came with fries but there maybe no more than 10 fries in total. I asked her if that was a full order of fries...."they (the chef) are inconsistent in the amount of fries provided." The waitress did ask the kitchen to cook up more fries. Nothing like having freshly cooked fries in contrast to the cold fries served with the burger.
The ketchup was scary! We tried dipping the fries into the ketchup but couldn't because there's a thick layer of something on top. We were told the staff freezes the ketchup....more bullshit! The silver container used to serve the ketchup was not cold but room temperature.
We've been going to Milestones Coquitlam for over 25 years and this is the first time experiencing food service this BAD.
The waitress notified us the lease on the restaurant expires Feb 2024 but uncertain whether or not Milestones will renew. This explains why the food service and service was horrible.
Very disappointing as the staff still represents Milestones.
I would NOT recommend Milestones since it's obvious the staff has stopped taking pride in their jobs and it's reflected in the service and food quality.
There are many other restaurants to spend your money at with much better food and service.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Feb 9, 2011Previous reviewWe went to Milestones like we do every year to celebrate our two kid's birthdays for the last 6-7 years!! They both really enjoy the food there since they were kids ordering from the children's menu. My daughter has really enjoyed the pasta especially the ones with lots of cheese. On this visit, we were seated by the bar with a waiter who I will not name but he's new to Milestones. When the waiter took our order, we mentioned to him we're here to celebrate my daughter's 14th birthday and proceeded to order starting with the birthday girl. I ordered the meal size California Spring Salad. I told the waiter my daughter had a peanut allergy but wanted to share the salad with me and to ensure the pecans were served separately.
My 2 kids and wife got their meals while I sat there waiting for my California Spring Salad..........what seemed like 20 minutes goes by, I finally got my salad while I sat there for 10 minutes watching the family enjoy their meals. Like always the signature California Spring Salad was phenomenal! Definitely worth the wait!
Finished off our dinner with our waiter offering my daughter cookies and ice-cream. She felt it was not sophiscated enough for her and decided to order different dessert from the dessert menu. - James E.Chilliwack, BC0172Oct 9, 2023
Underwhelming fare and unnecessarily slow service.
My wife and I chose Milestones for what we had hoped would be a lovely evening out. Sadly, we were let down.
We had an allergy at the table, and our server didn't seem to care. The kitchen staff had to come to the table to discuss that issue.
It took over 20 minutes after being seated and ordering coffee for it to arrive.
Beverages were left unfilled for far too long. The food was acceptable, but not at all worth the menu prices.
Our server was friendly enough, but not at all competent. There were only 4 tables in our section, and all of them were being ignored. The rest of the restaurant was not busy, so there was no excuse for the lack of basic service.
What should have been a quality evening was tarnished by overly high prices, snails pace service and mediocre food.
We will not be back.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Dyana K.Westwood Plateau, Coquitlam, BC132438Aug 5, 2021
I haven't been to Milestones for years but came here yesterday to celebrate an anniversary! Had a reservation at 7pm on a Wednesday night, was seated right away + it was busier and louder than expected. I noticed our waitress going back and forth but she did try her best to check in with how everything was tasting.
We ordered 3 dishes -- Garlic caesar salad, butternut squash ravioli, the grilled sirloin with the choice of mashed potatoes + add on of sauteed mushrooms ($6) as well as drinks. The waitress told us she could split each portion into 2, which I appreciated!
The caesar salad was nicely dressed with just the right amount of dressing. The filling for the ravioli was delicious but I found the pasta to be slightly hard on the edges -- would've been nice if it was cooked a little longer but it was not "hard" to chew. The steak was nice as well -- mashed potatoes were not salty and seasoned perfectly. I had the original belini which was lovely.
Overall, the food was presented nicely and I was very full and happy after this meal. Would come again in the future! Curious to try the brunch menu as well.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Lauren P.Vancouver, BC431529Aug 26, 2019Updated review
I really enjoy coming to this location. It's not too busy and the staff are really nice.
Drinks are good and not too icy, and food is done to standard. Have never had an issue with my meal here.
I tried the seafood salad this time which comes with prawns and salmon. It would be something I would get again. The Veg Ravioli is usually my go to choice.
Looking forward to coming back and having some drinks. :)Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Business owner information

Hi, thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with us. We hope to see you again soon!
Apr 22, 2019Previous reviewRecently was here on a few occasions. I had the Squash Ravioli which was fabulous, but left me still hungry.
The next time I tried the Garden Burger which was not bad! Pretty decent for a veggie burger, didn't come too soggy or overly doused in sauce.
Planning to come back to try something else! - Carla W.Abbotsford, BC0192Jul 22, 2021
My daughter and I went for happy hour , we ordered spinach dip , chicken bites with the chili sauce , ceasar salad and fish tacos . And of course Bellinis ..
The girl at the entrance was very nice , we sat down , the waiter came over and said oh no , then proceeded to wipe the table down , when I looked closer I could see glass rings ...seriously ? You stepped up cleaning ? Disgusting .
The food was awesome , that was the only redeeming quality .
The young man bringing the food to us brought three appetizers then after a while he came with our main meals we wanted , then proceeded to comment wow you guys sure eat fast , you must of been hungry ....really ? Don't you usually go to a restaurant cause your hungry ?
The waiter was bland , no personality whatsoever , he almost made things uncomfortable , I counted 4 glasses on the table all of mine , water , Bellini and a pop glass that were not removed . We weren't asked if the food was good , if we wanted anything else , we sat and sat then I asked for the bill , we might of had dessert if asked .
We wont be back, yes the food was good but there are other places that have service and good food .Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 1 - Sierra J.Surrey, BC0181219Apr 27, 2021
I haven't been to this restaurant in a few years but I have definitely missed out. The service was excellent and the food ooooh so good! We had the spinach cheese dip to start and I had the 1989 burger and my friend had the grilled chicken Cesar salad. Ok first off the California salad hit the spot with that tasty dressing then I took a bite of the burger and I could taste the BBQ flavour . Wish I left room for dessert but maybe next time. I will be back for more very soon!
