This is a great spot for $1 oysters and half price bottles of wine. The chicken poppers and shishito peppers are also so good. The service is good and the bartenders are nice.

Cheap drinks, good bar food, great hang out spot!

This is your spot for super cheap drinks in the city and a great hang out spot with friends. Making your drink a double won't break the bank here, so it's the perfect spot to get more drinks in before your next destination for the night. Food is also great. Like a snack bar/ tapas style that is great for sharing. The fries are a must get, can never go wrong with a fried potato! Gyozas were also nice for the table. They also have tacos which I've never tried but very curious about!

It's a dark basement bar with high top tables. Washrooms are cool with different wallpapers in each one! Overall a great night time hangout spot for friends! It gets quite busy especially on Thursday nights - weekend, so make sure to get here earlier if you're trying to snag a table!

Heard about this spot from someone when they said during happy hour, they have $1 oysters or "a buck a shuck". The servers there were pretty awesome and friendly, very cold inside and dark so if its nice out, I recommend eating outside. Drinks are pretty strong and come in pretty modern, rustic cups which I thought was different in a good way. Oysters were pretty good but small, comes with a champagne sauce and spicy hot sauce. I forgot what kind of hot sauce it was but it was very spicy and looks like cocktail sauce. Also got a side of fries with their spicy mayo dip that was good as well. Overall, I would definitely come back because I love oysters and $1 oysters is a deal you can't beat! Keep in mind, this is for happy hour ONLY and that's 5-7 pm.

Got in town last Friday and wanted to hit up a happy hour. Locals Only caught my attention for their Buck-a-Shuck oysters that they serve during their HH from 5-7pm. Although the oysters were on the smaller end, they were a perfect starter. They were fresh and the best I've had in a while. They are served with lemon, their house mignonette sauce, house hot sauce (WARNING you don't need a lot of it. A little goes a long way), and shaved horseradish. We order 2 dozens they were so good! I also ordered their passion fruit mezcalita. I highly recommend this cocktail! It was superb and the perfect summer drink. I recommend this spot as a starter to the beginning of your night. Perfect for a date night out, girls night out an or night out with friends kind of spot. Their HH also includes 1/2 bottle of wine or Prosecco. For 2 drinks and 2 dozen oysters, our bill came to about $37 cad which is about $28 usd. The vibe at this place was cool. My only con was that service was slow. This was a great start to our night and I'll be sure to visit this little gem again next time I'm in Toronto.

I was super impressed by their cocktails! The miss daisy was unreal. Great menu and creative ideas. The fresh cracked pepper on the miss daisy reallllly did it for me!
I didn't try their food so I'll have to go back. Their seating is great and allows for a lot of people.
The bartenders were busy but attentive. We grabbed a seat by the window and 4 of them checked on us within 15 min to make sure we had an order in.

We ordered two rounds of oysters and the came out promptly. The oysters were small but fresh, which is totally fair for the price point!

Didn't get to experience the run of the place before I was asked to leave for "not drinking"
by the doorman Demetri. I hadn't been in the space more than 10 minutes before Demetri asked my colleague and I to leave. He said someone pointed us out for "not drinking". Mind you there were tons of ppl around us not drinking, we just happened to be Black. Also, it's the end of the night so most people including us were drinking water to cap the night. We left on our own volition bc why be somewhere you're not welcomed. I could tell Demetri wasn't very intelligent, and couldn't articulate that "we had to leave bc we're Black" so I didn't give him a hard time. He'll likely be working there forever, so no need making an enemy. It's an unfortunate intro to a city we're bringing so much business to, as we're filming a major productions here. I'll be sure to inform the studio as well as the network about the city we chose to do business in. Would love to speak to someone in charge to talk more about the night.

Came here for buck a shuck oysters and half price bottle of wine. Oysters were tiny - size of half my thumb.... Fries were yummy and Prosecco was good. Atmosphere is dark and casual. Probably wouldn't come back for the buck a shuck but it was a fun experience!

Came here deliberately for their Buck a shuck everyday from 5PM to 8PM special!

Tucked away in the basement along King West, this afterwork snack bar features neon lights, high top tables, bar seating and a short list of drinks.

Recommended dishes we had include: oysters (super fresh and sweet), Nori beef Tartar with spiced rice chips + Ontario beef + nori mayo + radish + scallions, and the Only Fries with truffle mayo

We each also took advantage of the half price wine and Prosecco special.

Service is excellent. Despite it being crammed out food came out quickly and bus boys were continually coming by to clear our dirty dishes.

TIP: Come early as the place is small and get crammed quickly! We had to wait awhile to find ourselves a seat as this place is seat yourself. Also, they crank up the music pretty loud.
