As much as I love nice French style breads, I love the traditional Persian Sangak (little stone) bread. This leavened sourdough and whole wheat flatbread is topped with white and black sesame seeds and is baked on a bed of small stones in an oven. It's light, tasty and healthy. Persians love to eat it with lamb kabab but some also eat it with feta cheese, walnuts and fresh herbs (parsley, watercress. You can also have it with cheese, spreads or even make a pizza with it.

Although I haven't visited the bakery yet since I ordered and had it delivered, I can vouch for their delicious breads and will definitely be back very soon. I am very glad I found this gem!

If you haven't tried Sangak bread, you're missing out. Don't hesitate to check this place out, you'll thank me later :-)
