Art Box Gifts

Had what I was looking for. Expensive pricing. Not a huge selection - I was actually hoping for more things. But not bad for a place to go to when I don't feel like going all the way to Richmond. But Richmond has way more. Mini-fix of sanrio and cute stuff. Note book selection is good.

Run by the Koreans, they have been around at Metrotown for ages.  They sell Korean pop idol items, Hello kitty and other random things such as hair accessories, stuffed animals etc.  Their price is definitely not the cheapest.  They have really nice looking agendas for 30$, Hello Kitty plastic food containers that are made in Japan for 30$, water bottles, kid's toys, stationary and such.  Its not considered to be a big store, but if you want to look for gifts or something cute for yourself, its worth taking a look there.

A nice shop ran by nice people. A little bit pricey, but they have pretty items.

Art box is owned by the gift surprise store across from them. I had horrible service from both. I went into the store to look at stickers and the lady said, "I will hold those for you if you don't mind." I just gave them to her. 10 minutes later another lady asked if I was done shopping? Done? I am still browsing and buying. I didn't know that there was a time limit. I confronted her on her rude behavior and left. This is a shame 'cause I put back $30 worth of stuff including a KFC mock up piggy bank that the guy I am dating wanted at some point. I wanted to surprise him with it but just said f*ck it based on the attitude.

I went there yesterday, and I didn't buy anything. When I was on my way out to leave, one of the employees ran into me and asked to check my bag. Of course I didn't steal anything, I am not sure if its against the law for them to check other's bags without any proof.  I felt really insulted.  I hope  they don't check every customer's bag if she/he doesn't buy anything. I will never go into that store. This is my worst shopping experience ever!!!!
