This review of Tiffany's jewelry is long overdue. Three years ago, my significant other and I went into Tiffany and I chose a mesh pendant with diamonds and an accompanying necklace as my birthday present. The total cost was about $850.00. I have worn that pendant probably about 8 times, and each time I have had to have it professionally polished at Tiffany's because I am unable to get the tarnished brown look out at home using regular silver jewelry polish. Not only is the mesh pendant tarnished looking after every wear, but it also has a darkened, uneven colouring to it.
Check out my pendant after a recent cleaning and one wear: http://goo.gl/83bDX
The internet is littered with people who have purchased Tiffany jewelry and are unable to clean and polish it themselves. Strange. After spending so much money on an item of silver one would expect to be able to take care of it without always having to be inconvenienced taking it in for cleanings (they are not always free).
The cleanings for this pendant at Tiffany's takes an hour. They say they are ultrasonically cleaning it, and maybe they are polishing it too. Who knows. I get a different story every time; including my skin reacting with the high silver content and altering the colour, the amount of nickel vs. silver...blah, blah, blah. I don't care. I should be able to wear the pendant several times without having to professionally polish it. End of story. Anything less is cheaply made jewelry. Tiffany's quality control department should get their act together, as well as their social media department. I'm not the only one complaining about expensive jewelry that functions worse than costume knick knacks.
Perhaps they should give me my own high grade ultrasonic machine, and high grade silver polish so that I can clean their pendant myself after every wear. None of my other silver jewelry (purchased from other sources) requires such exhausting efforts.
Either that or buy this pendant back from me at full price Tiffany!

Umberto was very good in explaining his estimate of my vehicle's bumper damage. Whatever the customer chooses in terms of paying for the work done, one thing is true...they can't say that the choice they made was in ignorance.

I've used these guy at this location to switch out my winter tires to summer without incident. They charge $80 a season to store the tires, also no problem. So imagine my surprise when I went back to have my summer tires changed to winter. They weren't busy the first time, but had me book an appointment for 2 hours later anyway. So I went back had the tires changed, and balanced (or so I thought).
They charged me for the balancing, but never did it. I realized that after I got on the highway, and was doing over 100km in my BMW. I felt my steering wheeling wobbling and vibrating to no end.
I booked an appointment a week later (only time I had available) and they finally did their job, and balanced my tires. For my troubles the dude at the cash register gave me $20 off the next time I come in for them to do a another shoddy job.
Imagine if they did this with everyone. They would have no business. So really, since I'm a woman I kind of feel targeted.
I've got my eye on them now.

This is the advice I got, but won't take: Go earlier than you are plan to eat (about an hour or so), and to get your name on the waiting list. Then go over to Salt or one of the pubs in the area order a drink and relax. Libretto's will call your cell as soon as your table is ready.
Really?! That sounds like a plan if you want to squander your money and productive hours away doing something you can do for free at home, all the while waiting to eat pizza. I live in Toronto, not New York. New Yorker's indulge in this weekend past time all the time, and think nothing of blowing $300 on food a drinks before making it to the club to blow another $300 on drinks. I've been there, and done that...so no thanks.
