OK, I've had some good spray tans in the past, but the difference at Ortanic is personalized, pleasant service from Lauren and a very natural looking glow. I asked for a light tan and that's exactly what I got: golden, mellow, and even. "Sun-kissed" is how Lauren described it.
Although I love having fair skin and use SPF generously, there is nothing like a healthy tan to put a spring in my step and having me wear my whitest whites before it's even in season. I've never been so excited to be in a bikini.
Oh, and my fiance digs it.

Over the course of several classes, Andrea helped me work through a back injury and provided individual attention and follow-up.
Their schedule is really excellent. The sculpt classes are actually a nice cardio workout. And the hot yoga is a peaceful oasis on a cold Chicago day.
After my first month here, I am feeling more limber, stronger and perhaps more balanced.
Locker room is stocked up with everything you could imagine- even hair elastics! My only minor complaint is that the locker room is jam-packed and I've seen a few people get clocked in the head by standing up under an open locker.

You will be in great hands here. Working with the owner, Jen, has been a pleasure. After seeing the beautiful, elegant job she did with my and my fiance's personalized stationery, and after having a sit-down meeting with Jen where she devoted her full attention to each and every detail of our Reserve-the-dates, we decided on With Grace for all of our stationery needs.
The store is so fun, I find myself wanting to pick up nearly everything. It has this very cute feel but at the same time has a vast selection of any kind of theme or feel you can imagine, from seersucker-preppy to sophisticated and modern.
It's such a relief to be able to totally trust your needs to someone for a special occasion!

I hurt my back right before Thanksgiving and the folks at Aligned saw me right away, saving me from having to travel uncomfortably. Brian at the front desk and Dr. Joel really took their time with me. I at no point felt I was being sold - they were very direct and open and explained their thoughts.
The main space was also very open with some private rooms in the back. It was a very comfortable ambiance.
I'm definitely looking forward to going back for classes!

- the service was upbeat, and they let me try the sangria before ordering it.
- like the reviewer below me, I went in hungry and wanted to try at least 10 items from the menu!
- the tapas were decent overall.

- the sangria was icky-sweet
- The calamari was not only overly chewy, but was not in fact squid. It was octopus.
- The bacon wrapped dates were resting in a sweet gravy. So unnecessary. Why tamper with perfection?
- The fun ambiance was compromised by at least 2 distinct tables of raucous, profanity-spewing Wrigleyville types. Frequent wincing ensued. If you are going to create noise pollution that extends restaurant-wide, consider picking up the tab for the other diners. Seriously.
I think it was fine if you have not-that-high tapas-standards, don't mind waiting a bit and want a let's-get-wasted-man atmosphere.

She delivered an incredibly detail-oriented deep tissue massage with what I can only describe as innovative techniques for reaching the deeper layers of fascia. There was not one weak moment. My neck, shoulders received exactly the right amount of attention and deep pressure without me having to say anything, because Laima has an empathetic touch and also because she listened and asked questions at the beginning of the treatment. Now, my neck in particular is relieved of one very hard knot thanks to the very penetrating treatment and great stretching.
I highly recommend Laima for people who need a real, professional massage with results. I'm very lucky to have found her, and will never have need of another therapist in Chicago.

- They are friendly, lovely people that know me by name and pluck my hanging garments from the racks just as I walk through the door
- They treat clothing carefully, clean it thoroughly and tailor it well
- The prices are fair and competitive
- They work quickly. I often forget that I need one item sooner than the rest, and when I go to to check, they always seem to have everything ready to go a day before the ticketed pick up
Dry cleaning is really a utilty, right? You just want the clothes cleaned and pressed correctly with no drama. Well, they do this and yet transform the utility into a human experience. And that puts a smile on my face.
