Just had a very strange experience with Moonlight Cafe- I ordered/paid through the ordermoonlightcafe.com web site that Yelp links to as the official Moonlight Cafe site. When I got there to pick up, my order was ready but they said I hadn't paid, even though I showed them my credit card app entry for MOONLIGHTCAFE. I tried to show them the links and ordering process, but they didn't want to hear about it. I had to leave hungry since I didn't want to pay twice, and now I need to call my credit card company to dispute the charge. I'm really not sure what happened, but I'd warn other customers against ordering/paying through the web site.

Kobi provided us great service twice- once to re-key multiple locks on our new residence, which went well. As part of that, he re-installed several locks/knobs that hadn't been installed correctly by the original contractor, and didn't charge extra for that. Later, when it became clear that two doors were developing issues with the deadbolt getting out of alignment with the strike plate (again because of the original contractor's work), he came back and corrected everything so the locks functioned perfectly. We will definitely use him again if other issues arise (as it seems like they might!)

New poke bowl spot in the former Uni's Deli location, right across from SF General. They've got the typical "build it yourself" bowl options, or you can go for one of their specialty bowl combos (#1 salmon, #2 tuna, #3 veggie). They also have hot bowls like chicken teriyaki or beef bulgogi. They're pretty quick putting them together, which is probably good for hospital worker lunch outings. The interior seems a little unfinished- not sure if they're planning more renovations? It's all clean, though. No seating, so it's all to go.

New sandwich spot across from SF General. Still in soft opening mode, Mon-Fri 8am-2pm. Specially seems to be breakfast sandwiches- I got a classic BEC (bacon egg cheese) on a perfect bun- was light but still held everything together! Decor is clean/minimal, and the coffee is from Ritual. Later hours and beer/wine coming later- possible full opening after Thanksgiving.
