The legit Bagel World experience. Smaller selection but just as delicious. Bagels & bread (challah!) are baked on site. Eggs, sandwiches, soups, salads etc.
Don't be fooled or turned away by the small "Country Style" logo on the sign - I think they may serve other (fancier) coffee as well.

I REALLY want to like this place for brunch but how many chances do you get.
After a couple times having brunch:
Food is bland bordering on just plain bad. Service is very inconsistent (example: friendly but ignored for most of the meal then asked repeatedly if we needed anything)
Really only thing going for it is space (upstairs) so is usually not a (long) wait for a table, unlike the (delicious but always totally lined up) Lady Marmalade a few doors down.
And it's location. Probably based on that alone it will always be packed.
It's just a shame the food is so tepid.
I was hopeful after the recent remodelling that they would also spend some money improving the menu / food, but it was purely an aesthetic change.

RUN (as in don't walk) to eat here. Nice unhealthy deep fried veggie burger option as well.
"Double Double" (2 cheeseburger patties) was outstanding, as were the yukon gold fries. Trouble now will be not making this a weekly "treat".

$14 for a gourmet restaurant burger is understandable, but another $5 for fries??
Cold spring roll appetizer was $11 for 2 small-ish cold spring rolls with a few garnishes. Really?
Would go back, but likely only for drinks on the patio. Shame.

Gonna give this 4 stars since it was my first visit, but if I get another repeat experience it's going to 5.
Only ordered veggie - but MAN - delicious stuff. Resonably priced at $40 all in for 2 people take out, WITH left overs in the fridge.
Can't wait to order again.

Delicious Sunday brunch - could have fooled any carnivore who loathes anything vegetarian.
The blueberry waffles were amazing, along with fresh fruit and maple syrup. As was the tofu scramble wrap, and not to mention the smoothies.
Here's the thing though...
Having ONE person working the entire floor on a Sunday during brunch rush is probably not the best idea. And man was she frazzled.
Also, yes, I get the vegetarian thing, I even get the vegan thing, but doesn't vegan mean NO ANIMAL PRODUCTS in the restaurant? So then why the "dairy yogurt" option on the menu? It wouldn't have bothered me if I hadn't gotten a snarky response from said frazzled server when I asked if the "coconut creme" had diary in it (uh...we're vegan .... no animal byproducts...)
Can't wait to go back - I just hope they have more people working the floor, or one that can handle a full restaurant.

The food aways tastes excellent - chicken is grilled to perfection.
My only food complaint is that it's not the healthiest menu (as expected). Oversized grilled hotdog buns as side 'bread' is a nice touch, but a bit heavy. Rice and potatoes taste great, but are quite greasy and buttery.
I guess unless you are ordering a salad, you aren't going for healthy food anyway.
The wait staff can be a bit terse at times - inconsistent; sometimes friendly, sometimes hostile.
Decor is basic greek diner; unintentionally retro.
It's definitely not the cheapest spot for quick sit down or take out Greek on the Danforth, but its always filling and delicious.
