Sunday and Wednesday nights are the best times to check out live music. The Beauties play on Sundays, and quite often you'll see other popular local musicians hop on stage to play a ditty or two with the band. White Whale Wednesdays offer up a serving of weekly featured While Whale Recording Artists - always a blast.
Don't forget the food! I've yet to try the Blue Grass Brunch (though I really want to) but I've indulged in their mac-n-cheese and let me just say, oh my. It's lovely.
Come for the bands, stay for the mac-n-cheese.

I bought the most beautiful old school desk at G.U.F.F. earlier this year for an surprisingly reasonable price. It's absolutely charming but a little awkward to move, so the staffer let me borrow their dolly to cart home. (Very cool).
I highly recommend G.U.F.F for your next used/vintage furniture purchase.

I'm a vegetarian, and although I can't make friends with salad I certainly have picked up a few with the vegetarian Kings Crown.
Wednesday night is the Kings Crown + Pitcher special. If you're going to try their nachos, I highly recommend starting with Kings Crown (you'll never go back).
Don't worry vegans, they offer victimless nachos for you too :)
For all you beer lovers, there is a great selection to choose from (bottle and tap).
I *heart* Sneak's.

My boyfriend thoroughly enjoyed the Smoked Mackerel, Seared Ontario Lamb Saddle, and creme caramel for dessert.
My vegetarian option consisted of: Roasted Tomato Consomme, Risotto of local summer vegetables, Mozzarella Bufuala and for dessert I had the 'brownie'.
The risotto was actually quite lovely. I enjoyed it. The tomato consomme was pretty much canned tomato juice with some basil tossed in it and the brownie could be compared to a day old bran muffin.
I was so looking forward to trying the food there and I'm surprised actually. I have yet to try out their regular menu, so I'm not going to write them off completely. I've heard good things about their mac-n-cheese and veggie burger. Perhaps I'll revise this review or write a new one when I try some other items. Sorry Czehoski.
