We purchased a very expensive home from Park Haven and the way that we have been treated by the company is repulsive.

They have continually not completed work that we have paid for, the owner has called us liars and been extremely abusive to us, they have promised to get work done and then blatantly reneged on it, and there is many more things that they have done to make a home buying experience one of the the most horrific experiences anyone can go through.

My wife was 8 months pregnant when we were moving in and they were suppose to be done our house prior to being moved in.  Park Haven fired their site supervisor and all work on our house stopped without us being informed.  We contacted Park Haven numerous times to find out why our house was not having any work done on it only to be ignored.  This went on for 8 weeks.  My wife, who had just had a baby, was forced into a position to organize contractors and trades to get work done.  All the while, we were never informed that the site supervisor was fired and that there was not plan to do any work on our house until they hired a new site supervisor.

We still have stuff that was part of the original construction that isn't done and it's been almost a year since we took possession of the house.

Park Haven allowed a contractor to put a lien on our house, even though we completely paid the house out.  They assured us that the lien would be removed, but then reneged on this too.

We bent over backwards to accommodate Park Haven, even giving them an extra month to complete work prior to us moving in, even though we owned the house at the time and had to pay 2 mortgage payments on 2 houses so that they could get the work done.  We have put up with half finished works and bad craftsmanship.  To have the owner constantly renege on contracts and call us liars on agreements that are in place is unacceptable.

To top it off, we have never event been thanked by the company on our purchase.

There are way better builders out there.  Stay away from Park Haven.

One of those hidden gems that's great to go and seek out.
