Pricey for a casino, but well worth it if you like shrimp and crab legs (which I don't).
Ambience is good, because of the floor to ceiling windows, and service is spot on. However, the floorplan was much like a cafeteria and nondescript compared with the rest of the beautiful resort.
3.5 stars because I'm in a good mood.

This past game, we ended going to the New Orleans restaurant a few hours before 7pm start time. Oddly, Pioneer Square was pretty empty even though there was 45,000 at the game.
Anyway, we sat in section 118 with the skyline in the background. Unfortunately, the sun hangs there til about 9pm.
Anyway, Safeco is the best, underrated ball park in USA. Yes, there are more storied venues, and higher tech fields, but Safeco attracts a wide variety of merchants on game day outside, enhancing the atmosphere. The venue itself is stellar in every way.
I only had a problem there once 7 years ago. The beer person charged me 999.00 dollars for 2 beers and it took 3 innings to get the charge credited back (but I got free beer and a tour of the stadium accounting office under the field)

We have Christmas Dinner at Griffins and it was most enjoyable. I love this hotel, because unlike 90% of Vancouver, it remains familiar and stable.
I usually have my watches repaired on the lower level, so it's handy as a downtown worker.

Take very little salad, perhaps a small plate of traditional beans (delicious at Samba) and then sit back with your place card turned to 'green'
You will offered at least 6-7 different cuts of different meats fresh of the bbq/oven. Lunch there is downtown Vancouver's bargain.
You could stroll over to Urban Fare of course, but did you know they actually cook there food elsewhere and truck it in, then heat it up? I like Urban Fare, but give me fresh meat and salad any day. You'll find both at the Samba House on Alberni.
All in all, Halifax is pretty cool for a small city. It is compact, and lively.
The winters can be unrelenting and brutally long which makes summer that much more pleasant when it does arrive (usually overnight)
Historic buildings downtown are stunning and deserve a close look.

I was able to visit with half a dozen recovering patients, and all were getting the best care available in North America. City of Hope is exactly that.
Nice lounge upstairs and good mix of restaurants. I ordered the Villa Burger on the main floor. The service was unfriendly, except for the manager that kept a smile. The burger was underwhelming. Felt like I had to go eat again 25 minutes later. Otherwise, I had no complaints. Will return there for a good sporting event or after work drinks. Nice place overall.
Parking was limited until I learned there was a parkade across the street with a pedway connecting the casino.

Darren, a know-it-all that knows nothing sales person is to be avoided at all costs. Talked him and his dealership out of a sure sale of pre-owned Mercedes S600.
It's deeply troubling that a sales person can think everybody is dumber than him, be so offensive and annoying and keep a job at a high profile dealership like Dueck.
The sales manager was a much better person who tried to save the sale with decent persona, but it was too late. The damage was done.
