The panini were super tasty. I really enjoyed the herbed ricotta spread that they put out early in the evening. The nutella and strawberry panini at the end of the evening were also tasty messy goodness.
Yet another successful Elite event. Glad I made it out.
I loved the fact that there was absolutely no sales pressure. We went in and were instantly helped. The sales person walked us through the options and made us try a number of beds to get a feeling for what we wanted. When we told him we wanted a good value he instant helped us find a clearance special and saved us over $700.
Delivery is free and for an extra $10 they'll take away your old mattress and recycle it for you.
I'd highly recommend them.

if I have one recommendation, it's to try one of the fancier, over the top, items on the menu... they looked very good from afar and based on the other reviews I think they might be the key to making this place a 4 or 5 star.

John Fluevog Shoes
Neighbourhood: Queen Street West
The BEST time to go is in January or mid summer when they have their big clearance sale. You can easily save a hundred + dollars on a pair of shoes that will last a long LONG time.
As per the other reviews, I find the staff friendly and helpful with no sense of pressure to buy. Stock is usually good and they tend to offer a 10% discount if you work in the neighbourhood and qualify.
The pizza is pretty standard and on par with all the other Pizzaiolo locations I have eaten at.
They have a really good walk-in special for a 2 topping XL pizza for $18. The nice thing is that it's actually a true extra large and you get a TON of 'zza for your money. Took about 20 minutes for my walk-in order to prepared and the end result was very tasty.
They're good competition for the average (at best) Pizza Pizza down the street. I only wish they had a deep dish offering.

The staff was really great and seemed pretty in to the whole event. The mini fish sandwiches with the spicy mayo were really tasty and this place may have some of the best sweet potato fries I've ever tasted.
The live music really helped to round out the event nicely.
Can't wait for next month. Good job Kat!
Mountain bikers, bmxers all welcome. You'll need to sign a waiver and buy a membership. Weekday passes are $20 and weekends are slightly more. Helmets and brakes are mandatory.
The riding is amazingly fun. A perfect way to stay on your bike even if it's freezing cold out during the winter.

Chang'e Studio

Beyond the standard mat based classes they also offer classes that involve the hardcore Pilates machines and cover everything from basic 101 intro classes to advanced stuff.
The studio is nice and new. A class of 10 or so people fits comfortably and all of the equipment is clean and in good shape. The staff is friendly and helpful. Even for someone who isn't a Yoga/Pilates regular, this place is pretty easy going and welcoming.
From what I can tell the prices for classes are fairly decent. Not the cheapest but also not insane. They break up their services pretty well so you can pick and choose to help manage your budget.
I can see myself signing up for more classes and working this studio into my normal activity routine.
The view from the top is spectacular. The landscape is almost martian. Since you'll be above the clouds you'll feel like you are on the edge of the world. Peering down into the crater of the dormant volcano cone is mind blowing.
We had a bit of a challenge getting down the volcano as our rental car was brand new and the brakes did not agree with the long extended decline. Half way down we got to enjoy some pretty gross burning rubber smells, but it was worth it.
This place was possibly one of my favourite visits of my entire trip.
Date
I doubt I'll be back any time soon unless they make some menu changes.
