Hand-pulled noodles? Knife cut noodles?

The beef noodle soup is pretty awesome. The broth is clear and the ingredients are fresh. There is really nothing not to like about the quality of product served at Super Taste.

However... I'm not sure it's everyone's cup of tea to sit with absolute strangers. So keep that in mind and either get it to go or go with enough people 3-4 that you will have your own table.

Could it be possible that I actually considered removing a star based on the fact that the submarine sandwiches were too big?! Anyway...

In the Lower Mainland, you've got very few sandwich shops that do it right and even fewer that can do a grilled sub to near perfection. There is only one place that I can recommend to friends and that is Paul's Sub Shop.

It's filling, it's a carnivores dream, and like any good grilled sandwich you've got to eat it before it gets soggy.

The service is full of love coming from one of the nicest ladies imaginable and it would be impossible to find fault in her caring ways.

The name of this place makes me salivate!

Right from the start, I knew this was going to be a meal I could appreciate. How could it not, when a bag of popcorn that was popped in bacon fat appears on the table?!

Service was as expected considering the size of the restaurant and the fact that there wasn't an empty seat available.

As mentioned in another review, the food portions seem to be created in threes. This worked out fabulously for the party of three that I was a part of. We ordered six dishes and every one of them was fantastic. I do feel bad for the fried chicken though. It came out last and admittedly, I didn't really get to enjoy it since my palette had already been spoiled by the flavours of the shaved foie gras on a bed of mandarin oranges and bacon brittle. Oh, but that wasn't all.

The scallops, sliders, pork belly tacos, korean bbq wraps each had their own unique and defining characteristics that remain memorable even now.

Gosh... I need to stop having romantic relationships with my food.

Poke, pulehu short ribs, and friendly staff! I may return to the island of Oahu just to sample other offerings from this food truck.

Not sure how long they will be in the location they were at and I can't even really describe where it's located, but look for the graffiti-covered truck and the loads of people waiting for some awesome grub.

I had no clue that you could get samples of colognes from Sephora!

On my most recent visit, I had taken my cousin here since I told him that they had quite the selection of colognes available and that there is generally some nice eye candy to smile at while browsing.

He was most definitely satisfied on both accounts and to top it off, the nice associate offered to make samples for us of some of the colognes we were huffing.

To be completely honest, I had no intention of buying anything during this visit, but felt compelled to since my experience in the store went so well.

To my surprise, since it was also nearing my birthdate, I was also provided a gift with purchase! Things were certainly "coming up Milhouse".

Guys, don't be intimidated by all the girly stuff. There is plenty available for men in Sephora and it's nice to be temporarily pampered by women you don't know. :)

I satisfied my inner nerdiness and outer extrovertedness by purchasing a Honda Jazz scooter from Honda Centre this summer.

The staff was extremely helpful and made it easy for me to select the model of my choice and pay for it all in less than an hour and a half, which was split between a lunch break and after work. I even had enough sun left in the day to go for quite the tour of Vancouver after all was said and done.

While their selection was not large for scooters, their prices were in line with the market and current sales. They also have quite the assortment of  parts, accessories, and riding gear available upstairs and they were very helpful when it came down to me deciding on which helmet I would leave with. (If you were wondering, I chose the one that most closely resembled The Great Gazoo from The Jetsons.)

I will definitely be returning in the future for all my service, parts, and gear needs.

Hidden among a host of tourist traps in Steveston, Gudrun provides diners with a sampling of some amazing local cheeses and cured meats, while offering excellent wine pairings.

On a beautiful summer evening, a seat on the table in the courtyard will have you wishing this was your very own courtyard. In fact, you might feel as though it is with kind and friendly service that makes you feel right at home.

Great for a date or catch up convo with a friend, Gudrun is a special place in Steveston that will definitely have me coming back. (That's right, future dates... You will probably end up here with me.)

During my month long stay, I found myself eating at Quynh's on four separate occasions. Each time, I was greeted with courteous staff and excellent service. I will be out in Calgary again soon and will definitely be returning.

The pho broth is on par or better than most and the actually noodles are so right that Goldilocks would approve. Other offerings like the spring rolls and grilled meats are definitely tasty as well.

Slightly more expensive than the offerings at home for me in the Vancouver area, I never felt as though the prices were unreasonable.

If you're in the area, stop reading and just give it a go!

I am making a concerted effort to bring my golf game to a respectable level this year. With the right equipment, I will have to rid myself of that excuse. This is where Golf Town comes into play.

There's very few options in the Lower Mainland to get your golf equipment from. Even fewer that have a selection that actually provides you with reasonable options. Golf Town carries all the name brands, as well as some of the lesser known brands such as Yes! putters.

With a mall entrance from Coquitlam Centre and a street entrance shared with Futureshop and Atmosphere, I sometimes choose to walk through it on my way to and from my car and the mall even if I don't have a need to buy anything golf-related. The cashiers always seem to be responsive and greet you with respect, which is always nice.

The floor staff seem to be quite knowledgable, but it's a safe bet that they'll generally steer you towards their personal favourites or the latest/greatest technology rather than what might actually work best for you. I don't fault them at all, since golf is a very personal sport/pass-time and the easiest way to sell is based on what you know or what you've seen. I can't imagine that they all can try every single club nor do I expect them to.

Ultimately, I can't suggest a better place in the area if you need golf clubs, accessories, or clothing. No matter where I go, none of them actually make me a better golfer, but I do look great in these Adidas Adipure golf shoes!

Places that are open 24 hours a day are generally hit or miss, but on the multiple occasions that I have found myself needing to fill a prescription or  get a last minute item, this Shoppers Drug Mart location has been a treat.

The lighting is bright and inviting, the selection of goods is typical of any other SDM, and I have yet to encounter any nasty employees even at the eleventh hour when it's me and a few random yahoos.

One thing that I found very reassuring and pleasant was that on my recent trip I had filled a prescription at about 1030pm on a Sunday night. The pharmacist was lively and helpful and had my prescription complete and ready to go in minutes. He also spent time providing me with details of the pills and any side effects to be concerned about.

Lastly, a few nights ago I was surprised by a call from Shoppers Drug Mart. Did I win a prize for being their billionth customer?! No, they just wanted to take a moment to see how the medication was doing and made suggestions on how to minimize any side effects.

Certainly, winning a prize would make me feel appreciated, but the call was equally as pleasant.
