The Purple Perk is one of the best coffee shops I've found in the city. The baristas actually know how to make a decent coffee, which says a lot more than a lot of other coffee shops around town. It's a nice atmosphere, seating is comfortable but usually scarce due to the free wifi and the food is pretty good. The deserts are usually ridiculously huge servings, so don't plan on desert if you easily feel guilty.
