Cool place, decent pricing but I say that because it was Chinese New years eve and I needed a place to get a hair cut and I found them on Groupon for $35 AND they had appointments left!

Very straight forward, D understood what I wanted (keep it long and take no more than an inch off overall) and out of all the techniques to use to make my hair full I volume he opted for one of the more difficult - round brush curls!

Would I come back? Sure!

Totally love this place and trust them with my little staffy 500%.

He gets a report card after every visit, his own little cubby hole to put his leash in and all the dogs there are very happy and well-adjusted.

A discount voucher brought me into this place, but based on my experience - I am happy to pay full price for day care.

This place is a staple for me - even when I'm feeling like doing something healthy. The ramen noodle salad, pork broth and the smoked tuna tataki is delicious.

And once you go BLACK, it's true, you can never go back! Order the Asahi Black beer. You won't regret it. =)

I'm so in love with this hotel - the rooms are gorgeous, comfy and modern. The spa is TO DIE FOR! I always go at least once a month for a one hour RMT massage - you also get full access to the gym and outdoor hot tubs (complete with TVs and infrared sauna)...there are two different lounge-y areas and they provide you with coffee, teas and muffins and fruit. The change rooms are also pretty wicked - theres an 'experience shower' which is a must-do in my books.

The Keg is always my default if I'm feeling lazy. I love their crab cakes and their bread is HANDS DOWN the best in the city - it's sourdough, chewy and warm. I'm a huge bread fan and this place wins me over every time.

Their french onion soup and ceasar salad rocks as well. I'm not a huge steak fan at all and even I love this place! Also great for business meetings :)

Great place for mussels and frites, to see and be seen. Everything's pretty reasonable for a downtown location...just make sure the hosts don't cram you into the back if you want to be people-watch and be watched by people.

Hipster-central, need I say more?

If you don't like the clubbing scene and you just want to chill out and chat, this is definitely the low-key place to be. You can even play board games and life-size jenga in the back of the establishment, it somewhat resembles a cave. There's also live music.

Amazing mixologists, aka bartenders.

The bread basket is to die for and if you just go there for the bread basket and drinks, that'd be okay too. They have this amazing roll...I can't remember the name but it's got salami or SOMETHING delicious in there...

The meals are great too. Order the scallops, you won't be disappointed.

My first time was fabulous - the bartenders know their shiz, to the point where I completely trusted them and just said, 'make me something nice and fruity' and they brought me the most delicious pear-based drink ever.

Would I go back? YES. In a heart beat. The octopus chips are to die for.... DO IT!

FYI It's more of an older, hipster-ish, artsy crowd.
