   Hi Ruth
   Yep it looks like CHEK News will close on the 31st. Really very sad indeed. Management raised $2.5m to buy the station but the only 'reported' reply from CanWest was that they did not want to incur anymore negative costs. I suspect that this refeurs to the 6 - 7 months managemeagement would have to wait for the broadcasting liscence to be transfered into a new name. Big dissapointment.
