C eh? N eh? D eh? thats how you spell Canada
I speak Canadian and I'm here to help.
Here's some help with some common translations for travelers.
eh? = Huh? Okay? "Hello howz it goin eh?"
cutlery = silverware "Could you grab me some cutlery and the vinegar for my fish 'n chips?"
washroom = restroom "Where's the nearest washroom?"
serviette = napkin "This Canadian bacon is messy, please get some more serviettes."
chesterfield = sofa "You're pissed, sleep on the chesterfield "
pissed = drunk "She was so pissed, I let her sleep it off on the chesterfield."
Hope this helps, Laurie
