We just happened to be walking by and saw Vice Pres Joe Biden exiting from the Library(?) and then again, when he drove by.
Also, I professed my adoration for Ian Hanomansing as he looked down from his reporting work to see who his fan was, after his production team pointed me out.
THAT was hilarious! (He's SO-o cuuuuute.)

I met with the Indian Luge competitor, Shiva Keshavan.  Maybe he's not that famous, but in some circles he was a big deal because http://en.wikipedia.or... "A few days before the 2010 Olympics in Vancouver, Keshavan's sled broke during training. Because he's one-third of India's entire Winter Olympics team, there weren't enough resources to fix Keshavan's sled until five of India's leading lawyers chipped in $10,000 U.S. each to get the luger some more equipment"

Oh ya, I met up with the Turin Bronze medalist Jeff Buttle on the way to the Olympic Ceremonies the other night. He was a lil lost. Ahh so much planning for the games, But oh so little in reality.

I met Kerstin Szymkowiak, the silver medal winner of women's skeleton at the Saxony House, I have added the pictures to http://www.yelp.ca/biz... but haven't posted my review yet because I was going to try and get some sleep first. Yay! I heard that Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban were at the Ice Dance when Canada won gold.

Ran into Errol Kerr on the Granville strip the other night, he is the Ski Cross skier competing for Jamaica.
He looked a bit down and out as he didn't make it to the finals.

Watched the Canada vs. Germany Hockey game last night with David Suzuki and some Russian athlete at the Kings Head. Everyone cheered when Mr. Suzuki came in but no one knew who the Russian was. He was dressed in full Russian game attire though so many agreed that he must be an athlete of some kind.
